How much of Daybreak 2 is needed?

I finished playing Daybreak 1 a couple of months ago. I am considering playing Daybreak 2 soon. After that I will delay playing Horizon 1 until Horizon 2 is just about to get released.

I was under the impression that it's like the Cold steel games in which Cold steel 1 to 2 are one story and Cold steel 3 to 4 are another story. Thus I think that Daybreak 2 is like an epilogue for Daybreak 1 and most of the game is about finding the last Genesis device. The story of Daybreak 1 and 2 is different from the story of Horizon 1 and 2 and only the ending of Daybreak 2 leads to Horizon 1. Is that correct or no and you need to know all of Daybreak 2 to play the Horizon games? If all of Daybreak 2 is needed to play the Horizon games then I am thinking about delaying playing Daybreak 2.

I don't understand something in the end of Season 4

Lee was bitten in Season 1 and Clementine was bitten in Season 4.

Lee's arm was cut off a couple of hours after he was bitten if you chose that. After that his eyes became a weird yellow color and that means that he was going to turn into a walker. Clementine shot him.

Clementine's eyes also became a weird yellow color and that means that she was going to turn into a walker. She asked AJ to kill her. He disobeyed and he cut her leg. After that she stayed human and her eyes became the normal color.

Both had weird yellow colored eyes. Lee's amputation was done before his eyes became a weird yellow color. Clementines's amputation was done after her eyes became a weird yellow color. I want to ask how come Clementine didn't become a walker and Lee was about to become a walker?

I bought Eaton 5E850iUSB UPS in 2022 when I was living in UAE. I connected my Synology NAS and gaming laptop to the UPS. The electricity is stable there and the UPS never made clicking sounds.

I moved to Lebanon in mid 2023. The electricity is crap there and it cuts a lot and it regularly switches between government electricity and generator electricity. Generator electricity is not as stable as government electricity and it fluctuates.

My UPS made a lot of clicking sounds after I moved to Lebanon. Sometimes the clicks had no beep and that means that the UPS battery wasn't used to fix the electricity fluctuation and sometimes the clicks made a beep and that means that the UPS battery was used to fix the electricity fluctuation.

Also it clicked each time the electricity cut and came back and that means that it switched between battery mode and AC mode.

A few months ago the electricity cut and then the UPS and the NAS instantly switched off and there was no beeping sounds. It looked like the circuit relay switch that clicks didn't switch from AC mode to battery mode when the electricity cut so that's why the UPS instantly switched off when the electricity cut.

I no longer trusted the UPS so I bought Eaton 5E1600UD and I am using it. It's more powerful than my previous UPS and it makes less clicking sounds because it has a wider range. There are no more clicks without a beep and it sometimes clicks with a beep and it clicks when the electricity cuts and comes back.

I gave the old UPS to my dad. He has a laptop that has a dead battery and it always switches off when the electricity cuts so he connected his laptop to the UPS so it doesn't switch off when the electricity cuts. He has been using it for 1 month and so far so good.

I want to ask some questions to the people who are good with UPS:

  1. Was the circuit relay switch of the old UPS really failing because it didn't switch from AC mode to battery mode when the electricity cut? Or maybe the UPS suddenly switched off when the electricity cut due to a bug or as a safety precaution? My dad is using the old UPS and it's behaving for him and that's weird.
  2. If the circuit relay switch of the old UPS really was failing then is the circuit relay switch of the new UPS more durable than the circuit relay switch of the old UPS? The new UPS is the next generation 5E UPS. It has a fan on the back which switches on when the UPS is on battery mode. Also it clicks less because it has a wider range but even though I am still worried.

A couple of days later I woke up in the morning and I found out that the charging light of the laptop was blinking. I woke up the laptop from sleep and then it shutdown because the battery was 0%. I switched on the laptop and I saw that the battery was 0% and it wasn't charging. I unplugged the laptop from the UPS and I connected it directly to the power strip. It started charging. It looked like the UPS socket that the laptop was connected to was failing because it wasn't charging the laptop so I connected the laptop to another UPS socket.

I no longer trusted the UPS so I bought Eaton 5E1600UD and I am using it. It's more powerful than my previous UPS and it makes less clicking sounds because it has a wider range. I just finished Season 2. I want to ask did you let Kenny kill Jane or you shot Kenny? I couldn't shoot Kenny. I will say why.

I sided with Kenny in the beginning of Season 1 but after he lost Duck and Katja his attitude became bad and dark so I disagreed with him often. In the end of Season 1 Kenny refused to help Lee to go and save Clementine.

Kenny's attitude worsened in Season 2 and people got scared of him. He beat up Carver and Arvo. I felt that he wanted what was best for the others but the stuff that happened to him messed him up. In the end he wanted to kill Jane. What she did was very messed up because she pretended that she killed the baby just to upset Kenny and prove that he's a bad guy. He's not a bad guy and he was really attached to the baby thus his anger was understandable. That's why I didn't shoot him and I let him kill Jane.

I feel that he's not a bad guy because:

  1. He was very happy when he met Clementine at the hunting lodge.
  2. When they arrived at Wellington and the woman told them that they can't enter he immediately told her to take Clementine and the baby. His dream was to go to Wellington but he gave it up just so that Clementine and the baby can enter.

If he really was a monster like the other people said then he wouldn't have done those things. He really cares for Clementine and the baby.

What do you think?
