i realized i joined this sub and then just never made an intro post LMAO i figured it was abt time i did that! so hiii, my name is jove, to the people that don’t already know me (: my pronouns are he/him, and these are my boyfriends, alhaitham and aventurine!!! haitham is from genshin impact and churin is from honkai: star rail. i've been with alhaitham for three and a half years and aventurine for two and a half, and they mean absolutely everything to me 🩷 im vvv serious abt them, i feel like my love for them just gets deeper with each passing day. was originally gonna add a yap about why and how we fell in love but... tbh i think it's a little much for an intro post so i'll save my yap for another day. trust y'all will be hearing abt it at some point tho

and uhm… yeah here's some art of us i guess haha, the art of me with aventurine’s new fit is new!!! idk if i was just having a bad art day or what but waven was frustrating to draw, like every single aspect of him caused me trouble and i was thinking to myself that i NEVER want to draw aventurine waveflair again 😭😭😭 also realizing now that i forgor his sunglasses but idc idc im posting it now anyway. im def being overdramatic though, i will probably try again another time but… i think my next couple of drawings will be his original fit. or tbh id love to draw him in his stoneheart suit 🤤 anyone other artists out there feel like you're terrible at drawing your lovers? just me? 💔 i used to feel that way abt alhaitham too but i genuinely feel like aventurine is harder for me to draw than haitham idk what it is abt him ): i didn't really like the last drawing that much but my bestie loved it and thought we looked obnoxiously in love w each other (which is just reality haha) so i thought i’d share it w y’all (:

i'm sorry ive been a little inactive recently, school is lowkey kicking my ass 💔 i just took a midterm today and i’ve got another on tuesday so ive gotta lock in the next few days; at least i have alhaitham to help me study and relax though, i am truly so grateful for him 🩷

just wanted to share my most recent art of us and yap abt habibi 🩷 ive been feeling a little guilty that ive been talking more abt freja recently, though i know it’s just cuz we’ve gotten significantly more content of her recently than alhaitham since the sumeru archon quest is officially wrapped up (sumeru flagship event when??? i miss my baby wahhh) 

genshin’s anniversary is here and i finally got to level 100 my husband!! 🩷thank you c8 tighnariiii i owe you my life LMAOO unfortunately the extra 10 levels dont really do much for him and i know in theory i probably should’ve saved the stella fortuna for a support who would benefit from the increased base stats, but… idc idc that’s my man and i wanted to lvl 100 him. i'm very happy abt it though!!! i've got his signature weapon, i’ve FINALLY got his actual weapon (the one he’s shown with in cutscenes) after years of it avoiding the weapon banners i’d pull on, lvl 100, triple crowned, i even got the kfc collab namecard of him and kaveh (though unfortunately most of the time my pfp covers haitham’s face :/)… now the next step is slowly working towards c6. by the time haitham’s first rerun had come around, i had gone from only pulling for/playing my favs to becoming really obsessed w meta and wanting my characters to do the best they possibly can, even if it means pulling and playing characters i HATE, and unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it?) alhaitham’s kit was basically complete at c0 so my meta chasing friends always convinced me not to spend my pulls towards his constellations as they’d never be worth the pull value compared to investing in supports for him, but… idk im at the point where i want cons for him anyway, just out of love for him. i’d been hopeful that we’d get rimegrass as an actual elemental reaction and in turn they’d buff alhaitham to make the new reaction vaguely f2p friendly?? but the leaks situation is… not looking in my favour rn (‘: i was coping that he’d end up on a buffed character banner so i could go for cons after i pick up his new support but who knows if i’ll get my wish 💔 i’d totally have c1 by now if hoyo would add him to the free constellation selector but they’re holding out on me!!! though my occasional ability to clear endgame w him in the big 2026 is probably not helping LMAO i have regrets for not pulling for cons for him during the sumeru chronicled wish banner but i had picked up a bunch of weapons i didnt have during it and i use them a lot so… the pulls were definitely not wasted. someday you will be c6 habibi…

i also took some photos of alhaitham w my manekin recently, so here’s a photo dump of that (: when MW first came out, i still had very long hair and i figured that + my more feminine sense of fashion would keep me from making a manekin that vaguely resembled me, but after several haircuts… i did give it a try and i think he turned out pretty good!!! (: ive enjoyed blowing kisses at alhaitham with him NSFNJKFN i really want to take more photoshoots w them, though for now it’s gonna have to be in my teapot because none of my close friends have alhaitham so i cant get them to pose w me in the overworld 💔 sadge but it’s okayyyy it’s okay

i have some more haitham merch coming this month im very excited!!! both clothes and hopefully my akademiya plushie of him (: it always feels like christmas when my preorders finally come in LMAOO i cant wait 🩷 will definitely have to show it all off when it comes

next post will prlly be abt freja but i have a couple of questions i want to ask the community so hopefully i can make some posts dedicated to that too once my midterms are over? or maybe i’ll do some of those first and then post abt freja after idk we will see!
