Flight is at 7:35 PM from NRT to LA. What time should I go through security and check in my bags?

I’ve been at my company for almost 3 years now as a Software QA Analyst and come to the realization that I don’t have any experience with the technologies I am seeing listed in the job descriptions for similar roles. There’s also the fact that my company doesn’t test web applications so I don’t even have opportunities to apply to my work. All of the technology I have learned is proprietary and used for testing native desktop apps. They were written by former developers who worked at my company because my company doesn’t want to pay software licensing fees so I can’t exactly put them on my resume. I have been upskilling on own my time with projects that use in-demand technologies and putting them on my resume but I’m not getting any initial calls from HR. Do they just not care if I don’t have actual job experience with the technologies in the job description? Do I just have no choice but to lie in my situation? The only thing I feel like I have going for me is my job title.

I got request to interview with a hiring manager for an automation engineer role for web applications and it would be a big step up from my current position which I have been at for almost 3 years now both in terms of pay and technologies. At my company, we mostly use batch files and Power Automate for automation of desktop applications so I don't have any opportunities to use anything like Playwright or Selenium here even if I wanted to unfortunately. I feel I have no room for further growth here and need to develop a more in demand skillset. The only thing I've done is learn Playwright outside of work and set up a test automation framework with page objects and fixtures for a real game website I use often but I don't really prepared because it is not real experience. Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and have any advice.

I basically just went through college just keeping my head down and not networking at all thinking I'd be able to easily get a job after graduating. It killed me to see all these people talk so easily with each other like they've known each other for years. It took me 7 months to even get a job and it wasn't even a good one because now I'm sitting here thinking I'm screwed because everything I've learned here doesn't help me at a similar job. I had a check-in meeting with HR and lied through my teeth about still enjoying my work when in reality I've been going through this vicious cycle of wanting to leave my job for another one and complacency because I don't want to go through the whole interview process again.

What is up with boomer bosses and their hate for technology? My boss keeps saying that he thinks he works better with us both in the office but I honestly see no difference at all when everything we do is on a computer and we have the ability to share screens on Teams and can hear each other loud and clear. Not like we're speaking fucking alien over call and English in person. It's uncomfortable and awkward having to crowd around one monitor screen. All it takes is one email saying I would to go over this with you. Can we schedule a meeting for this afternoon? On top of that it feels like such a waste of time for me to have to add a couple hours a day just to spend barely an hour "collaborating". I've gone over new things with my team mate countless times already on Teams and I never get the feeling that we needed to do this in person.

I'm planning on attending the Oct 2 Chicago concert and know I need one of them for presale but not sure which one to get.

I have a 45 minute behavioral and technical interview tomorrow. Any idea what I can expect to be asked or should focus on preparing answers to? I have 2.5 years of experience in automated/API testing using Playwright and Postman and manual testing.

I currently work as a Software Tester for desktop software in the insurance industry and have been here for two years but most job listings I see are for Playwright/Selenium. I don’t really have any opportunities to use them because we do not have any web applications at my work. Is experience with testing desktop applications worth anything for those jobs or should I replace it with Playwright on my resume and learn it on my own time?
