8 Months after I fully assembled all the models, I've finished painting and basing my army. This has been by far the largest army project I've ever tackled. Next on my project list is a synthwave Chaos Knight, Night Lords kill team, and then non-warhammer miniatures for dnd-battletech-starcraft tmg.

I've finished and based all 60 techthralls for my 30k Mechanicum army. all the bases were done with the "baby wipe" marble effect. Once the minis were glued down I black rimmed the bases, and gloss varnished the tops. The marble effect looks really great with gloss varnish. It brings out the deep black veins better and shows off the polished look of the white. The rest of the army is ready to also get glued down and based. Then I will be done with my largest army project ever. Let me know if you have any questions.
Buddy and me are gonna have a 2018 kill team day. Broke out my 200pt chaos marine kill team. After looking at it now I can finally upgrade a few models like the khorne berserker, and night lord. Maybe I put in a red corsairs model now as well.
For those curious, we still play the 2018 version with some houserules to get rid of some of the jank.
Question my heretical friends. Has anyone tried sanding/ shaving/ filling down the armor panels little horns and "pots" meant for the big spiky bits?
I dont wanna have to go to our corpse-emperor cousins imperial knight shoulders. The reason I'm looking to do this is i wanna do some cool "space-galaxy" art for the armor panels and a synthwave inner skeleton. Thanks yall in advance!
I am very happy with a recent upgrade in my hobby desk. The 2nd picture you can kinda see what it looked like before with the paint in nail polish shelves just sat on the desk. What you cant see on the left side is a plastic storage bin with just a bunch of paints thrown in randomly. I got extra nail polish shelves (finally enough to fit all my paint), these deep seated book shelves that can fit the nail polish shelves, and a strip of LED lights that I put inside. Show me your hobby spaces as well and hopefully inspire others.
