My local shop has the Mirage Turtles, each signed by Eastman for $160 a piece. While I don’t have $640 to drop on 4 figures, it feels like a really good price. Am I wrong?

Anyone in the So. Central NH area is probably already aware of Double Midnight Comics in Manchester, but it’s been ages since I’ve been to the store (not since they moved to the new store). Their TMNT inventory is WILD! Further, I would have expected much of these pieces priced at “collector prices” but I’m pretty sure most of what’s here is MSRP. If anyone is a fan or collector, and within a reasonable driving distance, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the shelves so full.

Slow and steady was the answer. I’ll be honest: I barely use the app anymore, but I have a general sense of how I should be eating and which foods affect me in which ways. It’s not the end of the journey, but it’s a good place to be.

I’ll be honest, I’m a bit of a newbie to the new figure hunting game. The other day people were sharing barcodes, and it wasn’t until a few days later that someone was brave enough to ask “What’s the point of sharing barcodes?” - and only then did I learn about scanning to see if there are any in the back.

So today I went to Target and tried the scanner trick. Leo…none in back. Raph…none in back. Not off to a good start. Mikey…oh hey, they have one in the back and…hey…same with Donnie.

I found someone in the tech department, James, and explained to him what I was looking for. Showed him the picture of the scanner I took. He was super game to go check, and I said, “Hey, if they have the others, I’d take them too.” It took him about ten minutes to return, but when he did he had all four in his hands! He was just as excited to provide as I was to receive!

Devils and Dust was PIVITOL when it came out; it moved me from casual Springsteen fan toward an endlessly deepening journey of fandom. (Also, I think the poetry on this album spoiled me - making most of anything post-Magic feel…lacking). And I've had Hammersmith from the BTR boxset since it came out (Thunder Road from that set was the first dance at our wedding). I don't know why it took me so long to get either of these on my shelf.

I was cataloging my Star Wars comics this weekend. I think I might have gone too far in on JTC

I've been holding on to these bad boys for a long time. It's most of the first series (and a chunk of the 2nd) and loads of variants. I loved collecting these back then, and thought I'd hang on to them, but I'm downsizing. Good bye friends :-( [In talks with a local store, but send me a DM of you're interested. Much rather them go to a real fan.]

I try to limit my collection to mostly “vanilla” versions of the brothers (no monsters, Godzilla, costumes, etc). List is my list of what I have, don’t have, and don’t want (the ones that are crossed out).

What sets should I add to my hunt?

I ordered both the els and the tamarind tape pressings and…this is what I got :-/ Now, considering the standard studio version costs more, this could have been a bargain, but I already had it and WOULD actually like the other tape pressing. (I’m sure dirty hit support will take care of it, but I thought it silly enough to share).

I’m trying to collect the Batman vs TMNT turtles but there’s this weird thing where Mikey and Don are both easily findable for about $30 but Raph and Leo are both at least double? I wasn’t paying attention to stock and trends back then - was there a production scarcity?
