This weather is looking crazy. Chance it’s canceled? Or poncho party?

Seattle, 2011 — El Corazon
I'd been a Steel Train fan long enough to know Jack Antonoff was something special. When they came through Seattle, my SO and I made it a priority — got tickets early, showed up early, waited patiently. We knew we were in for a show.
Then things got weird.
By the time the house lights dimmed and the band walked out, they were standing in front of a crowd of six. Ten people in the room total, including the band. Jack looked out, took it in, and did something most artists would never do — he dropped the act entirely. No stage presence, no performance mode. Just Jack. He asked for the lights to be turned on and asked us what our favorite songs were. We talked between sets like people who'd just met at a party and realized they had everything in common. They played their hearts out — not because they had to, but because they genuinely loved playing music and six people who showed up deserved everything they had.
When the venue called time, we helped them load the van. Then they set up on the street and played another hour because nobody wanted the night to end.
The next year Jack hit it big. Steel Train was gone, with Jack coming back a couple years later as fun. But that night belonged to something smaller and more honest than any of that. Ten people holding something rare together — the pure love of music before the world caught up to it.
I'll never forget it.
Maybe I’m being presumptuous, but I figure the Venn diagram of Bleachers and Birbiglia fans has got to be just a circle? Lol. Jack’s latest episode on Working it Out is so great. He sings Adam Sandler’s Grow Old With You at the end, which is something I didn’t know I needed in my life.
Is anyone else on the list for the electric lady listening party on Thursday? Do you think Jack will be there?
I love my local record store for giving me this today 🥹
I have 2 VIP tickets to this show in Asbury Park, NJ and am unable to go. Ticketmaster won’t allow me to sell the tickets in the app yet (sell is grayed out). Any suggestions? This is too good a show for someone else not to enjoy - I just can no longer make it due to an obligation in our community.
The show is Saturday, May 23 and doors open at 3. The VIP tickets are general admission but allow you to be in a VIP area near the stage with its own bar and bathrooms.
words cannot describe how much I love this song. it brings tears to my eyes and I can hardly breathe when it plays. this being said, I’m ashamed to admit it is the only bleachers song I have heard. need some song suggestions.
Did anyone make it to the listening parties?? "We Should Talk" was my favorite unreleased track. I also really liked "Take You Out Tonight" and "Upstairs at Els."
What should we expect?
Hi everyone! Did anyone get an email confirming if they are on the list for the Citi concert series on may 22nd?
After signing up they said you would hear a week in advance & I haven’t heard anything either way . When I went in 2024 I had know by this time the week prior. Thanks!
Hey all! Going to my first concert with general admission floor seating in Cleveland at Jacob’s Pavillon in June and had a few questions regarding the experience. We are gonna start lining up an hour or two before doors open, so by the time the opener is done and the show actually starts it could be 3-4 hours of waiting in line. I’ll be going with my girlfriend, and in the event one of us has to pee or get water or something, what’s the etiquette? Are you allowed to “excuse me pardon me coming through sorry” to get back to your partner, or is it kind of a “you move you lose, get to the back” kind of situation? Appreciate you all, and anything you can tell me about the expected crowd levels or just anything interesting about the venue would be appreciated, my first time going to one of these things!
Hey y’all! Im curious if anybody me knows the timeline for the upcoming show at the stone pony. The venue website says it starts at 3pm but I’m assuming the boys won’t actually come out until 8-9ish? I’m curious if anyone had any insight, a friend of mine is wanting me to come to a party in New Brunswick that night and I’m curious if I’d be able to swing both in one day

So I just got tickets to the gig for banquet records on Monday the 23rd November. Can anyone who was at the last gigs there tell me what it might be like (timings, setlist ect). As it’s a small gig is there any chance for signings or something like that? It’s gonna be a great week as Im seeing them later that week in Birmingham so a bleachers filled week!
am i the only one that thinks dirty wedding dress sounds like a big thief song, not in a bad way but the way his singing sounds like he’s doin his best adrienne impression. though i kno he’s one of the boss’ henchmen.
