Dancing is just so good

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SONG

Dancing is so sad, I’m not exactly sure what it’s about, the obvious answer is Sarah but some of the lyrics make me think otherwise. Anyways, the lyrics make it an instant classic and the song is beautiful, sad, and angsty all at the same time. I love this song so much.

Wondered why people had an irrational hatred of Sombr

found out his heritage and it all made sense to me.

Disclaimer: I despise the state of Israel and I am fully opposed to genocide (I don’t feel like I should have to prove any credibility before saying ‘anti semitism is bad’ but HERE WE ARE)

I always thought that the whole ‘im from tel aviv and i love sombr‘ was just because people hate sombr and people hate Israel (i always thought the whole ‘im from Tel Aviv and i think this joke is funny ‘ thing is lowk anti semitic because tel Aviv is actually a progressive city that hates N*tanyahu and genocide.

But then when I learned that sombr is Jewish and never showed support for Israel, I GOT SO ANGRY THAT THESE PEOPLE WERE DOING ANTI SEMITIC DOG WHISTLES THIS WHOLE TIME!!!

anyways, i hate this racist/sexist/homophobic/ableist generation of ours

My big hope for ACL

Hello fellow Lorde fans! I might go see Lorde at Austin City Limits this fall (it depends on if it ends up working in my schedule)

And I am a huge Lorde fan and I can not wait to see her. I am also a huge Bleachers fan and I can not wait to see them too.

Look, as a member of the Bleachers fan community and the Lorde fan community I have come to notice that the Lorde fans are more likely to believe in the powerpoint and the Bleachers fans all think that it is total BS. But we all agree that they do not appear to be on amazing terms, which is a rather shame because you all can not fathom the way that I want to see her perform 'Don't Take the Money' with them. I love her backing vocals on the studio version of this track, but i also love the live version of this song with Lorde singing portions, I ADORE THIS, and they will both be at the same event. Anyways, I better not get my hopes up. At least I have utmost confidence that Charli and Lorde will perform Girl so confusing together as she will be at ACL as well.

Gone Now is so much sadder to me after reading Famesick

Gone Now is one of my favorite albums of all time, I whole heartedly adore this album. I am not an idiot, I obviously always knew that the album was in big part about trying to salvage his relationship with Lena Dunham.

But after finishing her new memoir, and reading the way that she talked about how their talk about getting married/ having kids, and the ways that both of them really wanted to save their relationship (people keep on saying that this book is why Margaret left him and it makes him out to be evil, but those people obviously have not read it because this book does not make him come off bad at all) songs like Let's Get Married and Don't Take the Money are so much sadder to me just knowing the depth of how the ways he is singing about trying to salvage a relationsip in the song failed.
