Four years ago I stuck a chopped emblem on my base model Elantra in the middle of a Canadian winter. Traded the car in and it was still hanging on! I went to buy a new one but I don’t see them anymore on the website. Too bad.
I bought up a collection of BMW pins. I don’t have a BMW but I couldn’t leave them. Appears the guy was from Quebec and spent lots of time in New England. I have two Hondas and a Yamaha in my garage so I am a rider. I have a photo wall in my garage and I’ll use these to pin up photos. Thought I’d share them here.

A post today about what vehicle to buy to commute caught my eye and gave me inspiration. I am a home care nurse. I use my own vehicle and get paid mileage. I often drive 500-1000 km a week! I currently have a 2021 Hyundai Elantra base model. It’s served me mostly okay. It already has 166000km on it.
My question for current and past home care staff is this. Any vehicles you swear by? Do you buy used, new, rebuilt?
I am glad this has seemingly been resolved! The chief and one other firefighter are no longer with the department. So lose two to get 12 back?

I got my keyboard today! So far I’m fairly underwhelmed. Doesnt work well with a case. Huge gap between keyboard and bottom of my phone. I’m going to keep it. I figure I’ll pair it with my work tablet and use it there as a separate keyboard accessory. Typing is okay. I seem to have forgot my BlackBerry muscle memory.
I went in to look at another vehicle and asked about this Hornet. Salesman took me outside and told me not to buy it. It has 12000km but hasn’t been sold. Used by the dealer since no one will buy it.

I love the Strombo Apple Music radio show. I used to listen at least a few times a week. I love George and have followed his various shows for years. There hasn't been a new show on his channel since November. I understand he is involved in some other projects so I hope it's just on hold.
Any recommendations for other Apple Music shows that I can use to fill the void?
I have a 2021 Hyundai Elantra Essential. Canadian base model. 6 speed manual. absolutely no driver aids. In 2005 this would have been a ”loaded” car. Air con, cruise, power windows and locks.
Cars like this barely exist. Even base model vehicles now come with lane keep and blind spot monitors. To get a manual Elantra you now need to buy the N. Sedans are dying. A basic manual sedan is non existent now.
I should buy a cover for it or something. Just did the battery replacement.
The guest this week is great. but I figured it would be Ed Zitron. I love his better offline episode. It’s a cool zone show. Ed seems is a big critic of AI and would have been a great guest!
Bought this utility trailer second hand a few years ago. It had tie downs already but no wheel chock. I rigged up a wooden one which was beginning to rot. This spring I gave the trailer a paint job and new tires. bought an actual wheel chock too (Kimpex).
