Rescued a little opossum out of one black box trap from my weenie dogs smelling nose in our backyards and then he ran straight into another black box trap near my garden! 🤣😭

I could tell my doggo was about to get ahold of something so I carried the box to the outside of our backyard and shook him out / then he just ran and ran until he found another hidey hole. How old do we think this sweet little guy is?

Love getting lost in a loop during a practice sesh.

Always gonna make mistakes and sometimes meander into weird or different sounding places but the process is so much fun to just keep chipping away and finding out what can come of it all. Cheers friends!

Got a little update regarding the green lizard we shared about 40 days ago in our garden - we got baby lizards now!

https://www.reddit.com/r/gardening/s/d9ovEFQse1 We’ve seen at least 2 different babies so far this week - not sure how many typically hatch at one time but it’s been a lovely surprise. We should’ve known this was coming as my wife had sent me a picture about a month back with 2 lizards intertwined in such a way that could produce this outcome. Love being a Grand-lizard-dad.

Been teaching Lizzie how to play pool basketball - she’s definitely a classic point guard type - never trying to score just trying to setup her teammates with nose boops.

My dad kept the dogs and grandkids for the weekend last week and he hit me up impressed by how smart Lizzie was to be able to play a litte pool basketball. These balls are the perfect size because she can’t bite them. Smaller than this and she just bites the air out of them on accident. These size she can move around and even when she tries to bite the ball it’s just too big for her to get a grip with her teeth.

This little guy has been consistently hanging out in my garden for the last 45 days or so. He is seemingly getting more comfortable with me talking to him and watering his plant.

Below is the post from last year when I was trying to work out my 401k performance as Im not really math gifted at this point in my life I and I couldn’t calculate what my personal rate of return worked out to on an annual basis. FSPTX has been especially solid for me both from a growth perspective but also the capital gains they’ve distributed over the last year or so have been great for building up my position. From April 2025 to April 2026 - FSPTX had 4 capital gain distributions that added up to a total of $5.162 per share in payouts which were all reinvested in more shares.

Currently sit at 86.75% in FSPTX, 9.44% FXAIX, and 3.81% in VEIRX.

Hopefully this serves as motivation to stick with the slow and steady approach and not get too distracted by the noise that surrounds markets.

I’ll make a mental note to come back in May/June 2027 for another check in. Cheers!
