My BF (40) and I (35), have different views when it comes to spending.

He likes to travel a lot and he pays for his travel using his CC.

On the other hand, I prefer to save first before spending money on leisure or any other wants.

To be fair, he pays his debts in full on his cc due date. But he also has travels that he paid in 1 year. He doesnt owe anyone, just the bank thru his cc.

But regardless, he is not able to save. And he relies on his cc.

Now, I want to settle down, have kids, etc. But im afraid he is not saving up for those and would rely on his cc when that time comes.

Prev attempt: I tried to influence him on my way but i feel that he gets offended.

Question is, how do i tackle this with him? or, am i just being hard on him? I mean, he is responsible and hard working. He earns 6 digits. But i just get frustrated that he doesnt have the urgency to save.
