How to "import" a Realms world to my personal, local server?

I used to host a Minecraft server back in 2012, but so many things have changed since then. I found a guide on YouTube that showed me how to set up a Minecraft server using Ubuntu Server--I followed the guide and it worked! (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceYeDX5WTms)

I have an existing world from Realms I'd love to "import" to my local server, though I'm not sure how to do it. I'm using AMP and Ubuntu Server (headless server. 2400G, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD w/ 12TB HDD for file storage and streaming). Any tips?

New CPU/motherboard. Windows 11 says my pin is no longer available, but I can't connect to the internet to reset it.

I just changed my CPU and motherboard, and when I booted into Windows 11, I got the following message: "Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. Click to set up your PIN again." When I click it, it brings me to a Microsoft Account sign in page, but it says "You'll need the internet for this."

I'm not sure why I can't connect to the internet, but I'm assuming it's because I haven't installed the motherboard's wifi drivers yet. And I can't download the drivers to a portable USB and install them on this computer because I can't get to my desktop to install them.

Has anyone had this problem and fixed it before?

Cat meows at me until I play or get out of my chair (and then steals it)

Might comment pictures if I can.

My girlfriend and I moved in together, and she has a really sweet 3 year old female cat who was adopted at 11 months. She sleeps in my lap when I work from home, we play together all the time, and I think we get along well.

Any time I'm in our den/office, she stares at me and meows until I get out of my chair or play with her. It's non-stop. She'll scratch the side of the chair to get my attention.

Usually, scratching her butt while she scratches a scratch pad works to appease her, but the meowing and staring starts again after about 2 seconds.

Recently we've noticed that if I get up from my chair, she'll steal my seat and almost immediately go to sleep. I think this has become her bed without us knowing. She used to sleep on a cat tree we brought, but she hardly uses that anymore in this new apartment.

Any humane/kind ways we can change her sleeping spot that'll cause both of us less stress? This happens whenever I'm in the room, and it's my home office, so I *have* to sit here a lot.

Help - SteamOS (3.8.10) Installation Terminal Closes Prematurely

Trying to install SteamOS (3.8.10, 2026.06.18) on my living room PC (specs below) and I'm able to boot to the recovery image desktop where you can see the options: Clear local user data, Repair SteamOS Install, Terminal with repair tools, and Wipe Device & Install SteamOS.

I've clicked Wipe Device & Install SteamOS and the terminal comes up, I click Proceed, and after 5 seconds the terminal closes. I've taken a video but Reddit won't let me upload it here. The terminal shows the text, "Ok, let's go. Sanitizing /dev/nvme0n1:" and immediately closes.

When I check the KDE Partition Manager, my SSD (WD Blue SN550 Gen 3x4 250GB) shows no partitions--I have already formatted it through the BIOS. I've reimaged my USB drive maybe 5 times and I've had no luck.

Has anyone had any luck getting past this?

Specs:

- Ryzen 5500

- RX 6800XT

- WD Blue SN550 Gen 3x4 250GB

- 2 x 8 GB DDR4-3600 CL18

- ASRock B550M-C

- 1000W Montech Century II

Can I connect a docking station to a KVM switch?

Hopefully the picture makes clear what I'm aiming for.

My work laptop has two USB-A ports, one HDMI port, and two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. I need two monitors (not counting my laptop screen) for work, so I need a docking station. My Steam Deck dock works perfectly.

I'm wondering if adding a KVM switch would allow me to also connect my personal desktop so I don't have to keep connecting and disconnecting my monitors, mouse, and keyboard to and from the dock. I have the switch already but I really don't want to set it all up if it's guaranteed not to work--managing all of these cables will give me nightmares, and I'm not even sure I have enough DP/HDMI cables.

Is this possible? Even if it's possible, will it work well? Any problems I should be aware of like terrible latency issues?

Thanks in advance!
