I never buy Pokemon cards. And when I do, I only purchase from the Pokemon Center machines. I’m not a collector, just a huge fan of the series and enjoy opening a pack here and there. For the past year+, every Pokemon center I went to was sold out. I haven’t opened any packs since late 2024. Was out with my wife last night on a last minute excursion to the store and checked on a whim. One white flare booster bundle left and got this one the very last pack. Never in my life have I pulled something so cool. Truly a surreal experience. Immediately went to the card shop for sleeves and a top loader. Was gonna pick up more packs until I saw the $15.99 each price tag. I’ll stick to MSRP at Pokemon centers when I get lucky.
