They look kinda girthy to be chinook but also idk I'm not terribly familiar. Found in Oregon (from a friend, not sure which river unfortunately). Definitely teeth bc they were found in a jawbone.
I have a 30 gallon tank with 6 peppered corys and 6 otocinclus, any recs on stocking rasboras? I like the look of chilis but mostly just wondering if I have the space for a decent school of any species, I've had the tank for about 4 years but have only ever had beginner species. I just moved and my school of lambchop rasboras in a 40 gal was on the elderly side and they died pretty early on at the new place probably from stress and heat :( I dont have that much room tbh so I sold the 40 gal and wondering if I can put anything in the 30 with my little bottom dwellers now that everything has stabilized post-move.

Got this rad TC-45 at a garage sale, but it jams tapes so I set it on my shelf and forgot about it. I'm moving soon and deciding what to keep. I cleaned it briefly, I don't have anything special on hand so just used plain q-tips, and electronic wipes for the exterior and wiped down the leather holder.
Basically, the problem is that the takeup reel is weak/gummed up or something. Sometimes it plays tapes fine for a little bit, but when there's no tape in it, sometimes needs a little push to start going, and when playing a tape, sometimes I have to stick a little toothpick in between the spokes to push it along and jump start it. It was pretty dirty and old inside even though the outside is gorgeous, so I might order one of those cassette cleaner tape things. I'm decent with mechanical knowledge but this thing seems pretty old and I'm not good with electronics, can't access a lot of the gears without tearing the entire thing apart unfortunately. Should I find a way to lubricate the takeup reel? The pinch roller can be a little gummy too, though after the first few times of me "jump starting" it with my finger and wiping it with a plain q tip it seems a lot better. Advice? I don't want to ruin this thing and just want to try some basic cleaning options, if that doesn't work I'm happy to find a home for someone who can really do a good job with it. Plays tapes just fine other than the slow wheel.
Hello, I picked up a yama tower glass set for very cheap, only to realize it doesn't come with the wooden stand, so now I just have a bunch of glass and no way to use it. The yama website doesn't sell the shelf alone, only extra glassware. Anyone have a coldbrew setup that could work for yama glass or any idea where to get one? I looked on ebay but still don't see any listings for just the wood alone. I'm thinking of maybe getting a shelf stand/plant shelf and modifying it?
Hey everyone! I am moving and rehoming two of my babies that I separated to their own tank due to size difference with their siblings (runt tank lol) as I won't have room in the new place.
