What gamebooks/Choose Your Own Adventure books deserved a graphic adventure video game?
For me, it would be the Escape series: Escape from Tenopia and Escape from Kabran.

Only screenshot I could find online (sorry about wrong aspect ratio, not a huge fan of game either).
But seriously, don't you miss those tense minutes?
In reality, only certain action games were selectable. But I wonder...
Cheaper machine: Up to 5 times
Cheaper games: Up to 20 times
Many more games: 30 times more
Many more genres: Adventure, strategy, RPG...
Option to copy games: And buy them at the flea market
Option to program games: And sell them at the flea market
Booting in an IDE: BASIC was cool
3D capability: Every pixel was programmable
Management software: It also did accounting
Light gun games: That nobody I knew had
I know, I know... Very different machines and all that. I shouldn't compare. But it's interesting how many features were lost with the jump to 16-bit or, in the case of Neo Geo, with the total reliance on sprites.
(The Speccy also had games from 5+ different countries instead of just Japan: UK, Spain, France... and British ports of American and Japanese hits).
Who hasn't found one of these?
Whether it's for work (Linkedin profile) or leisure (Youtube channel), these persons (some women too) feel the need to inform us that they have children.
I personally find this totally unnecesary, funny in a way... and also sad, because I suspect they are desperately trying to present themselves as either "successful in life" or "I did my part"... I dunno.
What do you think?
