I hate Elves in any setting. Elves in LOTR, Elves in Warhammer, Elves in The Witcher. In Packed Lair, I play the forces of evil, but ELVES make my game unbearable.

Saw a game that's clearly trying to do what JA2 did

Warhounds. Turn-based, mercenaries with personality, mission-based structure, base between ops. Even the tone looks similar, that action movie seriousness JA2 had. Releasing in 2026, so keeping an eye on it.
