Further to my post earlier about another (5) rescue. The little hoglet has had plenty to eat and drink and is now in a VERY deep slumber, so far everything is looking good for the little guy / girl❤️

In anticipation of some actual rainfall in the UK I have deployed the Hog Anti Damp Device. To ensure customer enjoyment whilst dinning this evening.

No.5, it seems like every time I take a dog for a walk they find one of these babies that is in need of urgent help. Fingers crossed for this little one.

He / she was in the middle of a footpath curled up. Off to vets again as our local rescue seem to be unreachable and have never retuned a call.

Four days in and we have gone from 1 to 4 visitors.

A large pair who always turn up together, a single and a baby. Would be amazing if the baby is the one who I had to save and released after a couple of days back into the garden.

I may of got just a little obsessed.

Over the last months I’ve found 3 individual distressed Hoglets (approx) 6 weeks. Despite my best overnight amateur attempts only one survived.

Decided to try and encourage some guests and bought a really cheap £32 trail cam which was really well reviewed on Amazon.

Set it up last evening and WOOOOOHOOOOO.

I just need him / her to bring some chums along to party. I can see this costing me some serious money when I go full David Attenborough.

Their I am minding my own business enjoying a Sunday morning and this lands on my phone, is there no peace? My family are hilarious, mind you I did get this for Father’s Day.

Hello, found this little chap / Girl about an hour ago whilst walking the dogs in a wooded area. On a path in bright sunlight, no movement at all, not curled up bust just flat out. When I touched him no movement, anyway an emergency box later and got him / her home. Rang a number of hog rescues but no reply. In the mean time provided water and some dogfood and an hour later he seems a lot better all the food gone twice.

Question 1. How long should i keep him, providing food and water etc ?

Question 2. Should he be returned to the location from where i found the little chap?

I know this isn’t the biggest issue in the world but the iPhone app icon is god awful, it looks totally washed out with the colours. Please can we have the original back or at least have a choice to do so

I posted a week or so back about how brilliant but how fragile the this Lego piece is, it also takes up significant amount of real estate in it horizon position which makes even more vulnerable. I posted looking for a solution but found this on Amazon.

Well it arrived double packaged and every section was plastic covered so not a mark on the Perspex.

It’s heavy and very strong, base is wide and deep and SOLID, not a single wobble.

I would highly recommend as a solution and will be using this company for future stands etc

Ps. I did have to buy a second Ikea display case, also brilliant quality.

This without doubt is one of my all time favourite builds.

This without doubt is one of the most fragile LEGO sets to display

Taking the one time I threw it down the stairs out of the equation, I must of fixed / rebuilt elements of the model a dozen times.

I am looking for a really good quality wall / ceiling mount to display the model to get I away from being knocked and fixed. I see lots of options on sites such as Etsy but want a SOLID, STRONG option.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or solutions.

This pen and I have covered a lot of mileage on a lot of paper. It’s weighty but perfectly balanced and looks bloody great. Out of all my pens, this one has always attracted the most attention.

Parents bought me this a number of years ago and served me well during my career (now retired). It’s seen some, let’s just say a lot of interesting action, been some places and had to be disinfected many times and blade re-sharpened.

Chat, live timing and F1, might not be there this year but I am in spirit. Have a fantastic time if you’re there.
