Took the plunge and got a professional airbrush tan yesterday. I asked for brownish tan vs an orangey bronze tan. I rinsed only last night and today I feel like I look very orangey bronze. Please tell me when I wash with soap later today the real color will come through. I’d think the orangey undertones are outdated given how modernized and costly this.

Anyone there or recently returned? Was water swimmable?

Self tanning gurus help me out. I’ve used St tropez original since it first came out. Felt like it gave decent color but wasn’t tan enough. I’ve now been using bondi sands dark and feel like it’s not that dark and pulls orange on me. I used to do mystic tan in my 20’s and while it was a mess I felt like I was tan tan!

So my questions are- I am going on vacation in August and want to be tan looking. I don’t sunbath ,so want some island color. What should I use or what is the preferred self tanner for those seeking dark color and no orange. Also would getting airbrushed or mystic be a better option? Lastly, what colorless tanning drops do we all use here? I’d like to take them on vacation with me so when I am doing my night skinscare I can moisturize my arms, shoulders neck, décolleté, etc and keep some color.
