Why are some Gogglebox viewers interested in seeing the cast's feet?

I've noticed for a long time how some people have taken an interest in some of the female cast members feet, especially Izzi and Ellie's feet. I've seen posts on some forums about the opposite - how viewers don't like to see their bare feet. I am not fussed one way or the other, but I often think about why a lot of viewers and people in general don't like to see bare feet.

I remember a news article about how some viewers hated seeing Danny Dyer's bare feet on a table, and I mean hated, some viewers said it made them feel sick - why? What's wrong with seeing bare feet?

"Widow Rumble" name in The Return of the King

I remember near the end of The Return of the King, Frodo mentions how Sam's father would "be well looked after by Widow Rumble". I was surprised Tolkien named the character this way, the title "Widow Rumble" would be a harsh reminder to this hobbit that her husband was dead.

Sam's mother was dead, but Gaffer Gamgee is never referred to as "Widower Gamgee". I also noticed in The Fellowship of the Ring how Lobelia Sackville-Baggins is still referred to as "Mistress Lobelia" after her husband Otho died, in the reference to her buying Bag End. Perhaps as Lobelia was a well off hobbit she was referred to more respectfully.

Seeing the Surrey BC skyline from Mount Rainier at nearly 170 miles

I've been studying distant views of cities and I thought I'd already found record breaking views, but I saw on heywhatsthat that the Surrey skyline would be technically visible from Mount Rainier at 169 miles. But I also noticed there are mountains behind Surrey, so would the buildings ever show up against the mountains at such a great distance?

I've seen a photo of Mount Rainier from a suburb of Vancouver, but I found that the Vancouver skyline would be blocked from the mountain

Mount Rainier from Vancouver and vice versa

I've been studying distant views from US mountains and www.heywhatsthat.com shows parts of Vancouver to be visible from Mount Rainier around 170 miles away! I've found this amazing image of the view in the opposite direction and Mount Rainier can clearly be seen from an area of Vancouver. https://www.reddit.com/r/vancouver/comments/4j1ta0/til_mount_rainier_is_visible_from_vancouver_which/

Heywhatsthat.com shows that although suburbs of Vancouver are visible from Mount Rainier, the city centre isn't and even the tops of the tallest buildings wouldn't be seen because the view in that direction in blocked. But would the suburban part of Vancouver be recogniseable from Mount Rainier at such a great distance?

I also worked out with the website that the tallest building in nearby Surrey, BC would be seen from Mount Rainier (technically), but how would a distant building appear at around 170 miles? The website also showed that the other Vancouver in Washington is visible as well as Portland.

Lack of friendships and difficulty making friends

I was diagnosed with ADHD just over 20 years ago when I was in my early 20s, it was first suggested I had it when I was 13, but it was quickly dismissed. School was a nightmare for me, I was rejected continually because of other kids seeing my behaviour as "mad', "crazy" etc. and teachers not doing anything about it.

Since I was in my early 20s I've managed to control the symptoms, but for some reason I find it hard to make friends. I have no problems with social skills and I enjoy meeting people and being part of a group, but a lot of people don't seem to want to get to know me.

One so called friend, one of the few I've got has always had these friends who have never accepted me and they don't want to get to know me any better. I've tried speaking to my friend about it, but she never gives and honest answer. Her friends just treat me like a "casual acquaintance" even though I've known them for years and they only see me if I meet my friend at pubs.

Can these people see something in me that I can't see myself?

I've suffered from anxiety for years and one of my worse fears is getting salmonella. I've been lucky so far never to have had food poisoning and I've only ever had 1-2 day stomach viruses as a child. A lot of websites say that in most cases salmonella causes diarrhea and cramps for 4-7 days and it isn't serious for most people. However, I've read accounts on some websites that healthy younger people have caught a very bad strain of salmonella and ended up in hospital, I read that someone was having diarrhea 50 (yes, 50) times a day. That terrifies me

At one time the word "city" meant something, either somewhere very big or somewhere with a cathedral, and in many cases both. But having a cathedral hasn't been a requirement for a long time now and whenever there's a royal occasion, any large town or borough can put a city status bid in.

But the places that have been given city status in recent years and decades just look and feel like towns. Does being given the title of city in the 21st century really achieve anything? Wolverhampton was made a city in 2000 and I live on the edge of the borough, but it hasn't really changed or improved Wolverhampton as the centre is mainly run down, while other towns and districts they took over like Bilston and part of Coseley (my area) are neglected.

Still, Wolverhampton's got a premier league football team, a university and a theatre. I couldn't believe it though when I heard Southend on Sea had been made a city. From what I saw on Google maps it just looks like an ordinary town (and not a pleasant seaside-type town, but a very urban looking place) with a long sea front full of amusement arcades like Blackpool.
