It’s the weirdest thing. Some days they’re literally everywhere, other times they’re gone. I’ve not seen one this week. I live in Logan Square and take the blue line daily downtown for work - I know the cops have somewhat been involved lately in kicking them off trains when they’re sleeping, but I’m quite worried about them? Any insight?

Basically the title; someone asked this yesterday in another sub, but I thought it’d do well here as well. I’ll give you mine: Shrek and Shrek 2
The Eels, counting crows, funky town, etc. all hit home within and outside those movies

This morning on a blue line train to forest park (around 8:00am or so) at Washington in the loop, out of no where, the CTA conductor slammed on the breaks going approximately 10mph to 0 in less than a second.

The result of this was nuts. People were on the floor, I body slammed some poor woman, people were holding their heads from bonking them, a few sleeping homeless people were on the ground thrown off their seats.

Just before I ran off the train (bc I was not staying on their until Jackson after being shaken like that) I got a glimpse of one homeless man who looked jarred and insanely confused with bloodshot eyes, he was holding his hand up with a finger that was snapped backwards the other way; I literally saw bone and all.. I wanted to stay back and help people but I couldn’t.. I had to go..

I’m just wondering if anyone else was on that train? Is everyone else okay? I only saw what I saw on my car.
