So what’s the near future of battery tech?
Hi everyone, I’m hoping to learn more about home battery solutions in the near future. Obviously a rapidly changing field with new chemistries on the horizon and presumably the promise of lower costs.
I don’t follow the battery scene very closely so I was hoping that someone who could may be able to fill me in on what’s worth waiting for (or not) for an off peak and off grid capability to augment my solar system.
Naturally, I was hoping to wait a bit since I have 1:1 net metering and wanted to recover the coffers from my 14 panel system, but climate change fueled storms knock power out a lot here and now we have ambiguous threats of the power grid being disabled.
So what’s the future of batteries like? Anything near term?

Found a swallowtail chrysalis while weeding
I found this fallen swallowtail chrysalis while weeding . I very carefully scooped it up off the ground and obviously want to do the best I can for it. I had planted a fennel plant which they all devoured and loved, I was surprised to find this relatively far from it.
Regardless, I now have a fallen chrysalis and i suppose I should leave it on a paper towel in a container? Is this one supposed to be overwintering? What’s my best course of action here? I feel like tossing it back in the garden with lots of critters would be a death sentence. Obviously I have no intention of keeping it, but I would like to give it its best chance at survival. Thanks in advance.

Missing cat!
Peanut is missing. She’s not fully grown, a small vocal and friendly cat. Her one ear is clipped and she hangs out by the field and elementary school.

Deleting email suggestions in autofill? How?
So when I go to login or refresh a connection, I get tons of suggestions for autofilling emails and their corresponding passwords. Some accounts arent mine, some arent even active anymore. How do I delete these suggestions?

New glitches with the new patch?
So the 5.01 update has largely been a pretty big improvement, but I noticed now my Spotify will turn off or cut out. I’ve also noticed the infotainments screen flickering off occasionally during drives. Then today, a new one, my windshield wipers were randomly going off every now and then, rain sensor was turned off.
Anyone else experiencing stuff like this?
