For reference, I have mixed hair texture (4b/4c mix) I've dyed my hair before many times but I want to shift from the powder bleach and start toning it so the dye fades better.

I'll be moving out to Cape Verde for a year in a few months and I'm wondering what are some things to do that's beyond basic tourism and what I should know when going there for longer than a trip.
