I’m changing my car for various reasons. It’s a ‘23 model, but purchased Feb ‘24. Low kms. The trade in price loosely offered from photos seems to be about 6-10k less than what I’m seeing private sales listed as online. Most of the online ads have been up for at least a month, with price drops. My car has much lower kms than the vast majority of these listings.

Dealership said it’s a soft market with the war and fuel prices etc so they can’t offer me the number I said I’d like.

Would I be mad to accept the offer? I’m pretty time poor, and live in a small town so I’m thinking of cutting my losses to save the hassle. Plus I don’t enjoy the thought of dealing with people hah.

And the wipers seemed very flimsy and ineffective? I really liked the car otherwise and it’s not a dealbreaker but how have others found them? Maybe I’m just used to the chunky ones my Outlander has because the water sprays from them too?

Had a skin check last week, doc said I need to do 2 weeks of Efudix to my whole face. I’m very anxious about what it’s going to do.

I just turned 40, spent a LOT of time in the sun time as a kid and in my 20s (including solariums as a teen). I’ve had a small lesion burnt off my face last year and a small patch on my check looks like AK.

It only targets the bad cells I was told? So it’s possible my whole face won’t go bright red and weepy? I have no idea how I’ll go to work looking like that 😬🙈

Yet there are messages saying I still need to book a seat? I looked and the only ones you can book are the journeys that take 4 hours from Shepparton to Southern Cross.

I’m going to ring them tomorrow. But I really need to be on an express service there and ideally coming back the next day due to time constraints. Last time this happened a bunch of people pushed in front of me when lining up for the replacement bus and I missed it, and it took 5 hours to get back because the next one stopped ALL stations to Shepparton.

I really don’t want to have to drive because of this :(
