As a big Safiya fan, I only know Simply because of her. She seems super fun and I couldn’t not get the new collection. I’ve only ordered from Holo Taco once before when the last collab came out.

I loved all the shades in this one, and my style is very whimsigoth. So this was super my style.

So glad I got it! Just arrived on Thursday and I finally got to try it out. This is grim keeper and of course crescent moon taco on top.

I’m in love!

Recommendations for my child

Hi everyone! First post here. I’ve never played Zelda but my almost 10 year old child is super into it. (They dressed as Link for Halloween 2 years in a row)

They’ve had a tough go learning to read, and after years of trying I finally found something they’re interested in: Zelda manga.

We’ve bought every Zelda manga we can find, but they’ll run out of things to read soon.

Given they’re AuDHD and hyperfixate, I know they’ll request more.

Can anyone recommend some fan fiction that’s appropriate for a kid in grade 5? I’m not too concerned about reading level, just topic appropriate. (Aka no sex, violence ok since they play the game).

My plan is to print some off and put in a binder they can work through with their tutor.

Can anyone help a mom out with some links?

Super easy and delicious. I usually add guac, but I was out and added vegan sour cream instead.

Sailor Moon show at the CNE 1996

I found a picture of a fun memory! The year after Sailor Moon started in Canada with the DIC dub, there was a short stage show at the CNE that I of course had to go to.

It was so cheesy, but I loved it.

Jason Wiles fan appearance summer 1997

I was a 90s teen who loved 90210 and had a seasons pass to Canadas Wonderland. When they had a 90210 day and brought in Jason Wiles and Donna’s firefighting boyfriend, I couldn’t not go.

Jason Wiles was pretty charming. Whatever the name was of the other guy insisted on telling a bunch of teenage girls that “he did things his character wouldn’t”. That hasn’t gotten any less cringy the older I’ve gotten.

It will always be a fun memory!
