July 22nd - USCIS charged the credit card for full $990 (total fees for both)
According to the USCIS website, a receipt notice is sent within 30 days after filing an application or petition at a Service Center or Lockbox. Is there a phone number I could call to check?
I realize that it has been less than one full week since the credit card was charged. I am afraid that the receipt number is what serves as my proof of legal status as my H-1B visa was withdrawn by my employer late last week. Any guidance will be helpful. Thank you.
