Are there any other examples of the "Zingalamaduni effect"?

By the "Zingalamaduni effect", I mean an album that is so hated, that it actively undoes an artist's previous success.

Does this count?

I thought it was one at first, but it looks maintained

Am I selling my soul to the devil?

So, I recently started my job as a Meta Sales Associate. The pay is decent for a starting gig and I hope to use this as a stepping stone to finish my degree and have a career. I've read conflicting things about the job on this sub. Some say the job is great, while others say it's the worst. So far they have been treating me really well so I'll wait and see. I'm going to Minneapolis in July for a big training event.

But man, the products I'm selling just don't sit right with me. I'm not the biggest fan AI or those camera glasses. Not only do I have problems with the ethics of ai, but I have also seen way too many videos of people being assholes in public wearing those camera glasses. I'm just worried about my own personal morals about taking this job. So, am I selling my soul to the devil?

Edit: there is also the possibility that Facebook just shuts the whole thing down once the ai bubble bursts. That's the biggest complaint I've read about this position: job security

Does anyone else feel like the Hall and Oates reference was out of place?

I know Regular Show used licensed music before, but never before have they mentioned a real life artist by name. They always had fictional bands such as Fist Pump or Hair to the Throne. This was the first time they name dropped a real life band. Idk about you guys, but the fact that a real life artist exists in the Regular Show world really took me out of it. Is it just me?

Artists who were posers but it was a pose that worked

CCR were not from the swamps of Louisiana. They were from the Bay Area.

House of Pain were from Los Angeles but really played up their Boston Irish persona.

Gwen Stefani was not a rock chick. She said as much multiple times in interviews at the time.

And yet, all these groups pulled off their act really well. Like what Todd once said "yes, this is an act too. It's just an act that works."

It originally applied to stuff like The Lumineers, but now I feel it just applies to all indie folk and country, and as a result, they have become one of those genres that it's just popular to hate. The meme has lost meaning.
