IM SORRY?????

IM SORRY?????

as I've mentioned before, a good friend of mine works at a restaurant that Puke and Jeff and known to frequent. serving pukie and fang MULTIPLE ESPRESSO MARTINIS into October of 24 which would have been 30+ weeks into her pregnancy with Cocktailette. (my baby is a WEEK younger so our pregnancies overlapped) that being said, people dragged me thru the mud and said i was speculating, when my lifelong friend is literally the bartender who made AND served them those drinks (ADA prevents discriminating against pregnant women and denying then alcohol)

so now they're in Italy; with a BOTTLE of red which appears to be exclusively for Camp???? if you can't give up alcohol for 9 months; you aren't fit to be a mother. it was a bad look the first time around but they were much more covert about it; now they're just dangling her alcohol dependency in our faces

Hi all! We are RE relocating to the Detroit area and planning to start shopping at the Somerset boutique, so I wanted to get a sense of what the experience is like there for newer clients.

For context, I’ve visited Hermès in Paris (small purchases), but I’ll essentially be starting fresh with a U.S. home store.

My husband and I are planning to focus on categories we genuinely enjoy (home, men’s items, silks, etc.) and build a relationship with one SA over time rather than rushing anything.

At some point down the line, I’d love to add a bag—likely something like a Kelly 28 or Lindy 30 in a neutral tone—but I’m in no rush and mainly focused on building a relationship first.

A few questions for those familiar with the Detroit store:

How competitive does Somerset feel compared to other U.S. boutiques?

What have timelines felt like for newer clients more recently?

Is it generally possible to build a relationship from scratch there?

For additional context, I do have family who were longtime clients in Florida, but since we’re relocating, I’d prefer to establish a relationship locally.

I know experiences vary a lot by SA, but I’d really appreciate any insight into how the store feels right now.

Thank you!
