my cat isn't allowed in my bedroom for various reasons. most of the time this is fine, but as the summer approaches, my bedroom gets very warm and its a little frustrating to not be able to open my door to get airflow. im working with him on his worse behaviors but its slow going.
anyone have any recommendations for how to crack a door (and keep it only a bit cracked) without your cat circumventing it?
he's a very strong kitty and when i had a rescue in my bathroom for a few days, it took 2 weighed blankets, a heavy ceramic pot, and a pack of sodas before the corner of the door he could reach under was blocked without him being able to move it.

sat down while getting ready for work this morning and he immediately hopped up and took his rightful place!!
five helicopters hovering/circling west loop and garfield park. started out as 3 and has increased to 5 in the last half hour, ive been watching them from my office.
anyone know what's going on?
