[Acne] Doxy Not Working

My last Hail Mary… doxycycline… is not working. I have been taking 200mg a day for a month and well… as you can see, it’s not helping at all. I cannot take Accutane because I have Crohn’s disease and take Humira. I guess I just have to accept that this is treatment resistant and it’ll just continue to get worse? I have tried:

AA
Ivermectin
Metrocream
Tret
Elidel
Sulfur mask & soap
Zinc soap
Zinc oral supplement
Nizoral / ketokonazole wash
Zyrtec & famotidine
Doxycycline
Cutting out dairy, gluten, sugar
Washing with only distilled water
Removed my nail polish
Swapping my pillow case nightly
Slept on a different mattress for a month
Every face wash & moisturizer you can think of
No fragrances in laundry detergent, soap
SLS free toothpaste
I check all the ingredients in my shampoo

This was all over the course of the past 5 years

Am I hopeless? It’s feeling hopeless.

EDIT: I was on 40mg doxy daily for 4 weeks and have been taking 200mg doxy daily for almost 4 weeks, then I will go back to the 40mg daily as per my derm. So it’s been almost 8 weeks total.

Accutane while on a biologic?

Has anyone taken Accutane while on a biologic medication like Humira? I know they probably advise against it but I have been trying for years to treat my type II rosacea and absolutely nothing works and it has only gotten worse. It’s severely affecting my mental health.

Did Humira give you rosacea?

I take Humira for Crohn’s disease and ever since I started taking it (about 5 years ago) I developed rosacea. The timing is suspicious. The rosacea is resistant to all treatment. The only thing I haven’t tried for it over these 5 years is Accutane. I have pustules all over my face and severe redness. I’m trying to figure out if Humira is possibly the cause since it gave me psoriasis which I’ve just been dealing with and treating topically however the rosacea responds to nothing. Anyone else?

My stubborn type 2 rosacea has been flaring for over a year and a half. I have tried everything and this is it even on antibiotics. My GI said he would allow me to take Accutane as long as I monitored my symptoms while on it. I already take Humira so another “scary” medication doesn’t excite me, but I feel desperate as my face is always burning itching and oozing. Has anyone had success with Accutane for type 2 rosacea? And has anyone with IBD already come out on the other side of Accutane okay?
