Floor venting for easy removal to fill tank

Have a typical 8kw bottom venting all in one unit. Will be using it in a small cottage to take the edge off and will vent through the floor directly below to an empty space. If I want to be able to easily remove to fill to avoid diesel smell inside are there setups that make it easy to do that?

Or should I just use very careful procedures to fill and leave it in place?

These are well made ovens....a good durability test

We had a storm event that involved a very large short wind burst that wiped all my outdoor kitchen gear off the deck. Weber performer, smoker and Arc XL on its tall stand. You can see the Weber kettle on its side by the trees. The Arc is on its roof beyond the stand, so it travelled 10 feet and landed upside down.

Other than needing a bit of a cleaning on the outside....100% unscathed...I mean nothing, not even a dent or ripple in the outer casing. Cooked 12 pies the next day. Its like a metal turtle.

Kudos to Gozney for making such a great product.

Retailers can't handle the Garmin product variations...in Canada at least

Laughable how Bestbuy Canada can't make sense of all the model variations. Try finding a 47mm pro solar on that site!

Amazon lists pro solar in 47 and calls out the amoled screen.

Amazing that in this era you can't have an ecommerce site that can handle product variations....and kinda crap that Garmin can't keep major retailers straight on a major product launch.

Rant over

I want to get into room correction and active management....some suggestions?

I have a Umik mic and have messed with REW and such but I am looking for something a bit more automated and integrated and just works vs measuring and interpreting and tweaking etc. Fun but I'm looking for something more advanced.

Would also like something with a UI and just overall more integrated.

I considered replacing my AVR (Yamaha RX-A1040) to get something with Dirac but I am fine with it otherwise, plus that feels like its then part of the AVR vs a separate....but maybe thats better?

Looking for suggestions on the right MiniDSP product or other suggestions?

System is not over the top but I want to balance and integrate better for music and HT usage.

I feel like I am chasing my tail in that the sub has dsp, the AVR obv has the Yamaha setup stuff which seems very basic.

I'd also like something that can evolve with me especially if I move and set up a new room somewhere else.

System components

5.1 and maybe 5.2

Yamaha RX-A1040

Wharfedale Evo's

Emotiva Center

Totem surrounds

Home built 12" Sub with DSP

36" mobile smasher unit

I take the Blackstone on the road and do various cooks for friends and fund raisers. We do mini / slider smashers (have done 200 at one event) and full size this past week for my Tuesday MTB ride group. Always Oklahoma onion style with bacon, pickles and garlic chipotle Aioli....and it slays. If you pull the griddle off its actually quite easy to move.

Keep it simple, Costco lean beef pre balled at 2oz, American cheese slices, pre sliced dill pickles, Costco Bacon pre-cooked half way and pre cut, mandolined onions, Brioche or potato buns pre lubed with mayo. Bacon on the cooktop in the corner, Salt and pepper pre mixed in a shaker, buns toasting on the side with burner off, one person cooking, one pre condimenting and giving people zero choices (unless allergic or lactose issues) I have a few beyond beef balls ready as well and it smashes quite well. cooked 50 on Tuesday night over an hour and a bit.

People get weak in the knees :-)

ID my shirt in the late 70's

I'm 58 now. My mother pulled this out tonight at a party with friends. Much hilarity ensued. There is so much here.

Anyone regularly casting and using google home to control groups and volume?

Making me crazy.  I use youtube music to cast music to a speaker group.  Works great.  I use google home to manage the volume of the speakers etc.  ...however when I come back to youtube music to manage the playlist or change songs.....it has no idea what is now playing....it thinks a past song is still current.  Google home is always up to date.  So then you have a console that is controlling volume and can even jump to the next song but no freaking ability to control the music in the music app.  Makes no sense that it can't over the network stay up to date with the current track playing.

It even loses sync if google home has not been used to do anything as far as changing the track.

I have seen this for 2 years....I cannot be the only one with this combo and issue. Yes all devices on same 2g or 5g wifi makes no diff. Same if I use android phone or ipad .....all do the same crap.
