A few years ago now, I began working for a highly vulnerable, extremely under-funded client, (i no long do). I did countless unpaid hours, because their budget was absolute dog shit in comparison to their needs, so much so it left them at great risk, aka s..c.d. etc. I tried to raise their risk and lack of funds with their SC & OT but was met with deaf ears. The whole situation was very heart breaking and defeating to see first hand. NDIS is a great idea that it very poorly run at many levels, but that's the government for you. I certainly dont miss any of the inhumanity & piles of red tape lol. Despite all this, there are people who have compassion for others and dont just see dollar signs.

Its insane to me that ANYONE can have kids, and yet so many people have their own unresolved baggage, which they take out directly or indirectly on their own kids. So many parents ruin their kids for life, intentionally or otherwise, and have no account for their actions. All thats left is us to struggle through life. Talk about insanity, i think so anyway.

Apparently my grandfather cam back from the war, WW2, with ptsd, apparently it was a free gift they were handing out over there :/ and he decided to have kids! Yikes. Parenting standards were low back them. #1 reproduce, a case of quantity over quality. And so inter-generational trauma kicks in and and the neglect, abuse, emotional mailstrom that my mother grew up in affected her and thus me.

And where do i go to, since i cant lay my anger and grief at the feet of the very people who caused it :/

Life is hard enough without having to piece your life back together, which in the little time we have, is unlikely. Unfit parents breeding, in my mind, is an epidemic, that is responsible for so much suffering in the world. My 2 cents. Thanks
