We all know Wild is in bad shape, Warlock is a huge problem, yet garbage in standard. By looking at all the Warlock decks, I think I have a hypothesis on how to fix it. I have found multiple commonalities across the five decks and thus potential targets to hit.

General buff to Warlock in Standard to compensate for 1. Also general buffs to Death Knight in Wild.

1. Cursed Catacombs. In every deck. Arguably the root cause of Wild’s current problems. 1st priority.

3. The Soularium: Also in every current Warlock deck. Potential lower priority target to hit.

5. Raise Dead: In about half of the decks right now. A little iffy on if this should be hit.

6. Blood Bloom. Recurring bad actor in Wild. Three strikes you’re out. Gotta go.

8. Swiftscale Trickster. Main culprit in Quasar Rogue

6. Ice Block: Only a problem when mass generated. Healthy otherwise.
7. Solid Alibi. Same as Ice Block.
8. The Demon Seed: Fatique needs to bypass the reward.

Note: This concept takes its cues from the Student Council Killing Game shown in Danganronpa 3. It is purely in concept stages.

Working Title: Blood Friday

Intended Gore Level and Brutality of Kills: On par with the Terrifier series. I will NOT be posting details of the kills to comply with the rules.

Concept: A survivial horror movie where Black Friday becomes an annual Killing Game where shoppers kill each other and employees for big discounts on their holiday shopping. Is a satire of the retail industry making fun of BOTH the greed and awful way retail treats its employees and the awful customers. Black Friday being pushed forward to Thanksgiving night because the consumer got a sick kick out of ruining workers’ Thanksgiving. Unbeknowst to the general public, the Killing Games are ran by a nihilistic death cult and each person that dies is a sacrifice to the demon they worship.

The Setting: For the Killing Game itself, a Walmart parody known as “Wally World”, which also has a Waffle House inside it. Before hand, a medium sized city in California that has become a crime ridden hell hole.

Sample major killers:

1. A guy who looks and acts like Mr. Rogers complete with a bloodstained sweater. Armed with a Hundred Line style rotary saw.

2. A Texas Chainsaw Massacre style cannibal with a battle ax sized meat cleaver attached to an 8 foot long chain with a harpoon attached to the other side

3. A drunken mall Krampus

4. A crazy janitor in a hazmat suit armed with powdered sodium hydroxide and a super soaker.

5. A deranged gardener armed with gauntlets with pruner saws attached to them. Basically an attempt to make IRL combat feasible Warhammer 40k chainfists.

6. An obese Karen who drives a killer mobility scooter. The scooter has been modified to drive up to 40 mph. Has a Warhammer 40k style Deff Rolla on the front, pointy sticks on the front to impale people so their feet get caught under the Deff Rolla, and double edged knives attached to the wheels hubcaps like an Egyptian War Chariot.

Killing Game Rules: Violation of these rules results in heavily armed security neutralizing the offender.

1. Employees are not allowed to defend themselves. This rule was put into place after a karen sued Wally World and the specific employee for defending himself….and won.

2. Attendance is mandatory for employees selected to work Black Friday by the local Killing Game’s Mastermind.

3. No customer can check out until one customer kills another.

4. No customer can kill another until someone places their first merchandise in their shopping cart.

5. No firearms allowed.

6. No use of fire or explosives as a weapon. This rule was enacted after a Florida man sent everyone in his local Killing Game to a “clean burning hell” with a flame thrower made with butane and butane accessories.

7. No use of toxic gas.

8. Customers who successfully kill someone gain an extra discount on their purchases. The discount receives extra modifiers based on the brutality and creativity of the kill plus bringing a trophy of the kill.

9. Retail chains that participate in the Killing Games are only allowed to have one Killing Game per state.

Come in, have some fun and share your ideas for executions for new culprits. Ideally, they should combine SDR and V3 by being BOTH wacky and brutal. Here’s mine…

Design Philosophy: I design my ideas based on the idea that a good DR execution should incorporate the target’s talent, should have an element of irony, and as some nice seasoning have elements of potential black comedy. Cricky ideas for Nekomaru and Twogami are hard.

-Ibuki: Chase the Magic Dragon: An execution that parodies Rocker Culture with how rockers often meet their end by referencing a classic South Park episode. (The guitar hero one)

Ibuki ends up breathing in a gaseous vapor that’s a powerful hallucinogenic drug. She acts all giddy and high as she believes she’s chasing a cute little dragon. No no no no she aint playing Heroin Hero. She’s
actually playing Rehab Hero and being chased by a large Monokuma Dragon. It catches her, clawing/biting/breathing fire.

-Sonia: Happily Ever After. Takes rough ideas from a fan execution concept and adds in Sonia’s hobbies.

Sonia ends up in a Snow White Forest Maze chased by Monokuma versions of classic horror villains and slashers. She does alright albeit getting hurt along the way. Only to get captured by a Monokuma version of Art the Clown. If you’ve seen Terrifier you know where this is going.

-Akane: Hungry Hungry Gymnist.

Akane is placed in a gymnastics obstacle course full of spinning blades, lasers, and other progresively more difficult death traps with a big hock of meat as the reward. Culminating in a Kaizo Mario dirty trick where a whole bunch of buzz saws and walls shift into an unwinnable posistion at the very last second. This sends Akane into a meat grinder. Resulting in “Akane Burgers” which Monokuma (in a light blue button up shirt that is totally not a reference *wink*) grills and eats. The grill of course uses Propane and Propane Accessories.

-Nagito: Lucky Student?

Nagito is placed into a bunch of 50/50 luck scenarios. He fails each one resulting in progresively more painful results. In truth they were all rigged. The final one is a Russian Roulette where Nagito loses and gets a fake BANG flag….that impales his skull 5 seconds later in a reference to animated series Joker’s death.

-Hiyoko: Raiden’s Dance

Hiyoko is in a Shinto shrine dedicated to Raiden (Japanese god of lightning) performing a traditional dance. Lightning progressviely comes closer and eventually strikes the shrine. The building immediately catches ablaze and Hiyoko is still forced to dance. She gets struck by lightning and then burns to death. The burning is what kills her, not the lightning.

-Fuyuhiko: Yubitsume. Got this idea from the Amou Clan series of Over the Edge.

Fuyuhiko is in a room with a Tanto and a piece of tissue paper seemingly having to cut off a joint of his pinky finger in the typical Yakuza punishment. A trap door opens benneath him and he falls into a pool of liquid nitrogen. Monokuma grabs the frozen Fuyuhiko witn a crane and tosses his frozen body onto a conveyor belt leading to a device that shatters him to pieces. In a reference to some Yakuza body disposal methods, the ice chunks are tossed into the ocean as chum for Monokuma fish.

-Kaz: Twisted Metal

Kaz is repairing a vintage 50’s era Cadilac in Monokuma paint scheme. In a reference to Christine, the car is actually possessed and proceeds to attack Kaz, hitting him once. For reason it was actually a “robot in disguise” grabbing him and slamming him around like Hulk does to Loki. The robot then transforms into a ramshackle ice cream truck with a 40k Deff Rolla that grows machine guns via liquid metal and non lethally guns down Kaz. The ice cream truck then runs Kaz down with the deff rolla feet first.

-Mahiru: War is Hell

Mahiru is trapped in a brutal World War 1 style war zone taking photos of various atrocities happening. Gets shot, catches stray shrapenel before being finished off by mustard gas in all its awful grotesque detail via a random chem payload artillery shell.
