Once again, hoping I'm not breaking any rules by posting an imagined technical...!

Gun base welded to the rear-engine hood means absolutely zero maintenance access from above lol, so I guess in-world the mechanics are dropping the subframe for all engine work

Steel windshield inspired by a favourite old racing game called Powerslide, but also somewhat from those hectic cartel armored trucks

thanks to this subreddit for inspiration as always!

Mad Max MR2... finally complete!

Base kits are the Hasegawa Toyota MR2 AW11, and the Tamiya Flakvierling 38 for the rearmount guns + various borrowed bits for some extra flair; namely the rear wheel rims are from the Hasegawa Lancia Stratos kit, super wide barrel so I could fit two of the MR2 tyres on one wheel!

This build started in earnest years ago as a re-entry to the hobby, just working on a standard car build. Naturally as a beginner, multiple fuckups and frustrations turned it into a test mule for a while, before I decided to stop being precious and just make something nuts with it

I made a Suzuki Jimny technical model, based on Hezbollah and Houthi versions

I realised too late that the way I had positioned the Chinese Type 63 MRLS meant the operators' seats were going to get absolutely blasted by the rocket exhaust...but hey, that's guerrilla warfare I guess

Hopefully this is ok with the mods - the reference pics were both from posts I had seen in this sub

Suzuki Jimny technical, loosely based on Hezbollah and Houthi versions

First project officially finished after starting modelling a couple years ago! Have been doing a lot of learning and experimenting in the meantime, with many kits contributing to the shame shelf...

For this project, the base kit is the Fujimi 1/24 Suzuki Jimny Custom, with the Type 63 rocket launcher 3D printed by a friend.

I recognise now the operators' seats are going to get absolutely blasted by the rocket exhaust, but hey, that's guerrilla warfare I guess 😅
