My wife wants to renovate our living room and pitched me this... She doesn't think it's that bad.

Me 15 seconds in every time Hummer plays

Anyone else? Lol hoping this isn't one of those things that has been commented on every day for the last 30+ years?

Has anyone that reserved a Steam Controller actually gotten their link to purchase one yet?

I reserved one of these things on the 11th, which considering how closely I was checking the store for availability at the time, I'm thinking can't have been more than 24 hours after they introduced the reservation system... I just want to know if "reserving" one has actually worked for anyone yet?

Lifelong reader here, considering purchasing my first ereader at 32yo and would love some advice!

I want to avoid a Kindle (because Amazon), is Kobo like the clear other choice or are there a ton of options? In my teens I was adamantly against ebooks because I didn't want to see stores like B&N go away, so are there any ereader stores where the lion's share of money spent still goes towards the authors and/or brick & mortar bookstores, however all that works?

Also, how do the estores tend to work? Fortunately as I've never owned an ereader I don't have a collection of ebooks that I need to worry about losing access to, but do you only have access to the proprietary stores that are tied to your respective reader? Do all stores pretty much have most books you could want to read, or is there a real chance of not being able to find a book I'm wanting to read on (for example) the Kobo store?

Sorry in advance if these are all silly questions and/or if they've all been asked and answered in the past.
