Finally finished a sketch of the final sister, Ivy Madwhip. She's the third daughter out of four, has all nine tails and markings of a Kitsune, and was born with albinism.

Ivy, rather than taking up the mantel of her parents' successful small business, chose to instead protect her family's boundary lines– something her mothers have fought for and still fight for to this day.

And, now that they've all been sketched, I can mention how old their ages are estimated to be: Belladonna ≈ 1400, Jamie ≈ 1100, Ivy ≈ 950, and Juniper ≈ 475. (I... Had to change their ages by a lot since I forgot Kitsune are only born with one tail).

Obviously it took me forever because she has all nine tails AND long asf hair. ...Not to mention I sketched a pose, but the proportions were way closer to Jamie than they were Ivy's.

Anyway, now my insomnia meds have kicked in, so thinking any further beyond this point isn't a thing that can happen. Enjoy!

Stupid, I know, haha. I was trying to get another Snapshot Encounter, but realized its pose was just... Too perfect to pass up on.

This is Juniper, the youngest fox spirit of the Madwhip sisters. She is the heir to her parents' successful small business due to her being the only one interested in taking over. She's only 16, but is immortal just like her mothers and older sisters.

With a bitter personality, she's not fond of anything along the lines of making "friends" or anything beyond solely transactional encounters. Still, she's a very dedicated to-be businesswoman, and is on track to be a Valedictorian. As you can see, she has four tails– the second most tails out of all of the sisters. The third oldest sister (not designed or sketched just yet), Ivy, has the full 9 tails of a Kitsune.

The sisters are based on a Japanese red fox spirit/Kitsune (one of their mothers' species), as well as a Native American kit/swift fox spirit (their other mother's species).

Side Note: She doesn't have any tiger spirit genetics, she instead has a deep connection to tigers. Her Japanese mother (Still unnamed) was hesitant at first due to the stigma she was raised with in her home country; however, eventually she gave the native community she married into permission to go through with the process of giving Juniper the protective stripe markings [Juni] was determined to have.

Also!! If anyone has any corrections, please let me know! I want to make these sisters's stories as accurate as possible. I looked up all information I included into their stories, but that doesn't mean there isn't any inconsistencies (since the info came from online). For reference: The Native American tribe I took primary inspiration from was the Arapaho tribe.

My disabilities made it so that I wasn't able to do any further research beyond ensuring the fox spirit/kitsune was, in fact, an accurate sub-species that would typically be found in Japanese lore.

I highly doubt this will ever turn into a comic of some kind (mentioned disabilities leave me unable to work after all), but I would still like to have their backstories depicted as accurately as possible on my notepad app.

This is Belladonna Madwhip, an alchemy/poison witch.

I used a Micron lining pen, a white ballpoint pen, and the following alcohol markers:

**Copic** - YR7 and BV9.

**Standard/Off-Brand** - 15, 82, 87, 96, CG2, CG5, CG7, and TN4.

I've revamped and remade yet another character! This is Belladonna Madwhip, the oldest sister to Jamie Madwhip. They have a middle sister as well that I need to design. I originally was going to keep her killing their middle sister, but she just looks so happy and bubbly that she doesn't really look... Murder-y, y'know?

She's also an anthropomorphic fox witch, but she doesn't have a human or "more demonic" design. Her gloves and skirt of her dress are made from starlight, whereas the top of her dress is made of the velvety darkness of a starless, lightless night.

Her specialty is in poisons and poison cures, and she runs a small shop on the edge of a nondescript town. She was originally a D&D character from 2019 (when the second image was sketched, and when I still went by cynicalAvicide) that went unused.

I'm still working on figuring out her design, but here's another sketch of Jamie! This one has spades of her fully human disguise (swapped colour palette, no tail) and the more anthropomorphic design (multicolour skin/fur and fox ears).

The first image is the regular sketch, second is the lineart before I coloured it, and the last is a scan of the sketch. As for the scan, it's taken so that the colours are a lot more vibrant – even with editing the first image in an app to match the colours to the physical page.

Yay.

I got a replacement pen, so the lines are a lot thicker than normal. 😅 I'm not sure how I feel about this anthropomorphic design for Jamie, but realistic sketches aren't exactly a thing I can do... So this is likely the closest I can get. I might try again if I get the nerve to. 🥲

But, yeah, this is kinda more like taking from Egyptian deities and how they had normal bodies and animal heads.

...I really need to sketch her Miraculous outfit one of these days.

As the title says, this is a more anthropomorphic (Like how Egyptian gods/goddesses been depicted in the past) design for Jamie. Not sure if it's a better design than what I already have, but I'll likely need to colour her up seen the comparison.

I'd want to do a human disguise for her (or a fully demon design), but I'm not sure what colour I want her hair to be. Maybe a tan like the fox species– the Swift Fox– she's based off of?

Idk, I just know the wine red aspect of her hair colour would need to be incorporated elsewhere to keep the colour palette roughly complete.

(...I'm suffering in silence b/c I haven't gotten a single person that I talk to– a circle of 8 adults & relatives– into the Hachetfield Trilogy. Like, all but one of them like musicals, but nooooo. 😭)

It was hinted in the last post I made, but the Lycanthrope Jamie has similar disguise powers to Ailiya. My roommate wanted the raingoat, Amara, to be the club/clover, but I told her that Amara doesn't actually have a human disguise since she's only a sinner.

And, sure, Jamie's design isn't entirely HB/HH based (since she's more humanoid), but I like designing most characters to be more true to folklore/demonology instead.

This one's kinda cute. I think the reason why it seemed like Ailiya and Amara didn't have much chemistry with one another was because there really wasn't any reference poses that fit the two of them together– except for that one pose I sketched them in.

My chemistry senses say something is missing, but I don't know what/who. I'm not sure, what do y'all think?

All done! I'm still fairly certain they don't look like they fit well as a romantic couple. Perhaps platonic? Like, the kind of platonic couple that has rumours of them dating (because of public cuddling and whatnot), but they're not romantically compatible in the slightest. Not sure.

NOW my next step is sketching Ailiya with Jamie to see how their chemistry works. 😁🎊

Now it's time for me to take my insomnia meds... at 3am. 😅

I'm still going to colour it, but I tried to sketch Ailiya in a somewhat romantic pose with Amara and they just... Look like friends (and not in the "and they were roommates" kind of way).

My next task will be to sketch Ailiya with Jamie to see if they look good together... After I finish colouring this one in. And... Lining it. 🥲

Lots of concept art sketches where I was trying to figure out where, exactly, I wanted the colours for her to go. I'll sketch a full pic of what her decided colouration will be soon, too. Obviously the one I liked the best is in the bottom left hand corner.

I'll post the coloured versions once I'm done, but this is Amara Jones. She was a character I made back in high school. Once a cocky and brash woman, she's been revamped into a very shy, calm character. Think very, very vaguely of Fluttershy.

I don't like having characters that don't have powers (booooring), so she has water elemental powers that are only for protection/defense. She has heterochromia (one eye blue, one eye yellow with a spot of blue), and one eye is scarred from a traumatic wound inflicted on her in her childhood.

I think sketching her entire ref sheet made me solidify an actual backstory for her (unlike most of my other characters).

Also, I accidentally gave her reindeer horns as a goat, but then my younger cousin called her a "reingoat"... And now she's a Raingoat. The pun was just too good. 😅

Anyway, I'll stop blabbing about her.

Side note: I only completely changed her persona b/c I have soooo many characters that used to be copy-pasted of the same archetype, just with different designs and/or colour palettes.

New OC I've made named Jamie Madwhip (IYKYK & have great taste in short story series). She's a red Lycanthrope based on the Swift fox. Her tail isn't always visible, but I sketched it here. I'll likely change the texture to match her hair instead of being a solid block.
