5.5oz duck wet food options?
Tl;dr: does anyone know of a good duck wet food that comes in a 5.5oz size (preferably one of the better ones with fewer fillers/weird ingredients)? Seems like all I can find are 3oz cans now.
I've seen some chatter here about how Merrick discontinued their 5.5oz sizes which matches what I noticed, it's a shame because I can make the 3oz cans work but it feels very wasteful (I have a routine of feeding my kitty half a 5.5oz can twice a day, plus a spoonful of dry as a topper, and that amount has been perfect). I like to rotate flavors because she gets bored, she mostly likes poultry so I used to buy those 5.5oz Merrick variety packs which were great in addition to the other brands she'd eat. It seems like most duck wet food is now only available in 3oz cans; my cat isn't super picky so I do buy her other brands of wet food, but nobody (or at least no brands I recognized) seems to make duck flavor in the larger size which I find kind of odd.
Clover is coming back?!
Seems like the email just came out, for anyone who isn't on the mailing list. Since I didn't see it posted, figured I'd put it up here.
I made a decision to buy a relatively powerful laptop from a few years ago instead of going full top of the line, with RAM prices the way they are, since I kept my previous laptop going for a long time via component upgrades and this would let me reuse some of them. I'm curious what people think as to how long this laptop will perform well. Ports, display etc are a non issue, both are sufficient for my needs. For context:
Old laptop (2019-now): i7-9750HQ, GTX 1660TI, 64gb DDR4 (overkill, the upgrade was cheap at the time), 4tb nvme gen 3 TLC.
New laptop: i9-13900H, RTX4050, 48gb DDR4 (upgraded using one stick of 32 from the old laptop in the only slot), same 4tb gen 3 drive moved from the old one.
Particularly curious what people think of staying with DDR4 and gen 3, the laptop actually came with a smaller Gen 4 drive but I want the space and flash memory is expensive. I'm not a huge gamer, mostly music and audio content creation with occasional light to moderate video editing and occasional app development. I know it's plenty powerful for now, just curious what other people think about longevity. I got a good deal on this laptop all things considered, so I won't feel too bad about not keeping it as long as my previous one if it comes to it.
