Precedents:

- Abstain votes are ignored and have been removed as an option from the polls (2017)

- Unanswered votes are ignored and cannot hinder a candidate from winning the position (2026)

If both of these are true and the candidate is unopposed, then if the election succeeds, they are automatically the winner of the position. Thus the only way to not seat the candidate is through failure of elections.

The elections are literally a farce, like I said 1 month ago, let the elections fail. It almost failed nga eh they extended it a lil to get over the minimum number of required votes lol.
