Need tubing for water drainage. What is a nice flexible material?

I need to run a drain from the drainage pipe into a bucket under my desk. The pipe is 15.5-16mm wide. What material can I get to fit over and snake it below my desk? Last clear “plastic-y” pipe material I had was very stiff. It was 3/4inch (19mm) inner diameter which worked alright. Would like more flexibility.

Cat acts like he’s always starving!

I have a ~4-5 years old cat (Billy) who I rescued 1.5 years ago. He’s around 10lbs and is a long haired tuxedo cat.
When I adopted him, the foster let me know that he was very food motivated, which I quickly found out was an understatement! Billy lovesss his food and it comes with serious behavior problems. I’m not sure where to begin.

He’s constantly on the kitchen counters and dining room table, especially when there is food. He tries to steal food, even food that isn’t meat! He’s tried to get into the garbage and he eats food catchings in the sink when they aren’t cleaned out which has contributed to his dental issues. It’s impossible to cook, especially meat, because he’s trying to jump up and steal the food. His hunger never stops.

In the beginning, Billy was waking me up early meowing for food and would not stop until he got it. I would stay strong and not give in until it was his scheduled feeding time but it got to a point that I wasn’t getting proper sleep and he would meow for hours. So to resolve this, I set up a dry cat auto feeder. He would get dry food in the morning and wet food at night. It did get him to turn his attention away from waking me up, but he was also gaining weight fast with the dry food. Also he would scratch the feeder and shove his paw up to try and shake more food down.

I also tried to give him more food than recommended because I thought he was starving. If I give him more food he throws it up because he doesn’t know when to stop eating.

After the vet let me know he should lose some weight (he was around 12lbs) and wanting to switch to a wet only diet, I took dry food out of his diet. I read that cats are better when they are on a scheduled feeding time so I would feed Billy a half can of 5.5oz pate the same time every morning and the other half at the same time every night.

The behavioral issues remained.
Recently I’ve been less rigid about the feeding schedule and not feeding him on minute when his breakfast and dinner are. I think it has helped a bit to not train his body that his food will be ready every day at an exact time.

However, it hasn’t changed much. Through all the food and schedule tweaks, his behavior issues haven’t changed.

I don’t want him to feel hungry. I don’t want him to be overweight. I need him to stop trying to steal and eat every piece of food, try getting into the trash, and jumping on the counters.

I didn’t necessarily want him to be able to graze but I’ve been thinking about trying it. I think he will throw up because he doesn’t know when to stop. Have also been thinking about setting up the auto feeder to give him 2-3 snacks throughout the day between his meals. I’m worried he will attack it again and also gain weight. I’d rather him be happy than worry about him gaining an extra lb or two.

Please help! I don’t know what the correct answer is and feel like it can’t be ‘just who he is’. I think there are things I can do to correct his behavior.
