No idea what im doing😅
Hey everyone, new homeowner here and don’t have anyone else to really talk to about this stuff so i’m hoping to get some feedback or validation 😅
I had a little over 10,000 sqft of TifTuf Bermuda sod laid at my house. I did not do an irrigation system as that will have to be a later project. (The grass turned into a much bigger project than anticipated).
Instead, i have fully automated my hose spigots on each side of my house using B-Hyve smart timers. I have a bunch of oscillating sprinklers and a tripod sprinkler in a larger area. I set them on a daily schedule to run for 55 minutes each.
I was told 40 minutes of water for 20 days to get it rooted. I was checking under the sod after the 40 minutes and there just wasn’t a bunch of moisture so i increased the time and were gonna see if the extra 15 minutes works or if i need to adjust.

Can anyone tell me what i can be doing differently or if my makeshift system is enough to do what I’m trying to do?
