The Organic Intellectual (As Defined by Gramsci) is posting on Substack thoughts that come from his/her own experiences .But there are still other traditional intellectuals who also publish with Cambridge, sometimes also on Substack, and have an elite status.

In this context, the Substack intellectual - who usually is a freelance writer an MA or a PHD- and the Ivy League traditional intellectual both provide literature that can be as good as it was in the time of the ancient Greeks, this I could argue.

Yet, they are comepting with each other for paradigmatic ideas and shifts in intellectual perspectives in their fields. One is aiming at this with funded and institutionalised rhetoric. The other is less institutionalised, less funded, but gets less attention.

To what extent can a paradigm shift - like Original Concepts in philosophy - could emerge from institutionalised intellectuals comepting with unknown and non institutionalised thinkers ?

Can we see, for example, powerful movements like French Sociology or Anaylitical philosophy shaping up from Substack with this room of freeplay ?

الايدلوجيا السياسية بتعريفها هي فكره مبسطه تحاول تفسير العالم تفسيرا متحيزا من اجل مشروع سياسي ما. مثال على ذلك، ايدلوجيا الافضلية العرقيه او ايدلوجيا الصراع الطبقي وادعاء مثل هذه الايدلوجيات امتلاك التفسير الوحيد للعالم. نجاح الايدلوجيا يكمن في تقليلها لثمن ومجهود الفهم العميق للعالم ورفضها اي تفسيرات مختلفه للعالم دون اي اساس عقلاني للرفض. فالتفسير الايدلوجي للعالم ينفي اي نقد يخالفه في رؤية الحقائق و يرتكز تماما على تقبل الكثره و المجموعه او الحزب السياسي للفكره المبسطه.

إن ادعاء الحقيقه و القيمه في الايدلوجيا يصبح اصدق كلما زاد عدد متبنيها. الحقيقه في الايدلوجيا جاهزه للاستهلاك ولا تأتي بتفاصيل خلفية لكيفية ظهورها للمستهلك.و السؤال هنا: كيف ستحول التكنلوجيا انماط تفكيرنا في ظل هذا التراث التاريخي للايدلوجيا؟

لاشك ان مسىح السياسة العالمية قد اصبحت مفرطة الظهور في جميع مجالات حياتنا مع هذا التقدم التكنلوجي . لقد جعلت وسائل التواصل الاجتماعية تبادل الافكار بين الافراد و الجماعات سريعه و لكن مسطحه . اصبحت الافكار تتبادل عن طريق مجموعه من فيديوات قصيره و رسائل نصيه تتكون من "ايموجيز" أو رموز تعبيرية، بها تتجاوز المسافات و الزمن.

وكنتيجه، اصبح الخطاب السياسي واعيا بعيوب نفسه، و مفاخرا بهذا النمط من التواصل المسطح. فظهرت نوع جديد من الشعبوية، بلا حياء ولا اسف، تسعى ان تستعيد امجاد وعظمة ما تم فقده في الماضي. نراها بوعود بأستعادة العظمة و العزم للنهوض . و برسائل الرئيس ترامب بموقع تروث سوشال وبأعلانه عن قراراته السياسية بفكاهة مصطنعه تتجاوز جدية المحتوى.

و نستطيع ايضا ان نرى ذلك في المقاطع السياسية المزيفه المنتجه عبر الذكاء الاصطناعي وتقبل الناس لماتحتويه من رسائل تتفق مع توجهاتهم السياسية، لها مع علمهم انها مقاطع مزيفه.

والسؤال هنا، لقد كانت الايدلوجيات في القرن الماضي تتكل على شرط التنظيم و التقبل الجماعي لها لكي يتقبلها الفرد . ولكن مع وجود خوارزميات الذكاء الاصطناعي، هل ستظل ملزمه ان تتكل على هذا الشرط اليوم لكي يتبناها الفرد ؟

لقد جعلت التكنلوجيا المعاصره الايدلوجيا تتجاوز المجتمع المحلي. فأصبحت السياسة تدور حول تفضيلات الفرد الخوارزمية بمحتوى عالمي على شبكة الانترنت . فبدلا من ان تكون السياسية حوارا بين فئات و سلطات المجتمع المحلي، نراها تدخل في السنوات الاخيره في الاعمال السينمائية العالمية و كأس العالم و برامج الواقع في التلفاز و حتى الملهى اليلي.

الفرد في هذا المشهد الرقمي غير ملزم لكي يتناول السياسه بأن ينضم لمنظمه او حزب او تجمع اجتماعي. بل يمكن له تناولها مفردا في ملفه الشخصي و في منصات التواصل الاجتماعي. و ذلك بتدريب الخوازميات ان يخيطوا له الموقف السياسي المناسب و الهوية المناسبة. هذا، بناء على تفضيلاته الشخصية و مشاعره اللحظية و هو يتصفح الواقع الافتراضي الرقمي، الخالي من اي ارث السياسي.

In his book Vita Contemplativa, Byung-Chul Han views the ability of contemplation as lacking in the our new digital age.

Han constracts the life of in-activity with the life of activity. The digital age is an age of non-stop activity.

Contemplative inactivity, " is alien to the machine. It knows only two states: on and off. Simply deactivating the machine does not bring about a contemplative state."

What distinguishes contemplater from a guardian or observer who always pursues a particular goal. Is that the contemplater, by contrast, lacks all intention, has no goal in sight.

Han’s thesis is not about going back to premodern in-activity, but to not let our glorification of activity takes from us the value of inactivity.

Conetmplation is non-instrumental human experience. Justice and Beauty are not goal oriented, but valuable in themselves.

This reminds of Benjamin's Aura. Which Politics takes its place. Spiritual stability substituted by political recognition.

But what replaces the faculty of contemplation ? What we do when we are inactive ?

Hello. 3 years on Concerta .

Has anyone quit smoking or vaping while on Concerta and had to increase the dose? Change meds?

My concentration is lower than when I was vaping.

And this is totally normal , I do know that.

So, my GP recommended an augmentation with Wellburting. While concentration was a little better, I felt a little bit blunted. And I dont want to stay on Wellburtin for a long time for adhd.

Any personal experiences in this case ?
