First (and probably last) Shein haul

Retail brand: Shein

I’ve never ordered from Shein before, but was persuaded to by the selection and price of the press ons available.

I wanted to upload a comparison of what I ordered versus what I received so anyone else considering buying these sets from Shein can see what they look like in real life. Some were good, some were not so good.

Has anyone tried Loste reusable press on nails?

Just got an advert on Instagram for press on nails that claim to be reusable up to ten times by the brand Loste (Instagram handle is @getloste).

They look like they have some really nice sets for approx £15 but I’m struggling to find any reviews online. Has anyone got any experience of this brand?

Pausing every chapter just to admire my nails

Retail brand: Primark

Never really liked my hands but I LOVE the way press ons make them look. I’m still new to press ons and this is my first set just using adhesive tabs. Also can you believe these nails only cost me £3 🥲

JBL UK website charged me more than advertised price

It’s my first time ordering from the JBL website. This morning I placed an order for the JBL Tune 780NC over ear headphones in sand which are currently advertised on the UK website as £69.99.

As I was filling in my details the basket price remained £69.99 with free DPD shipping. As soon as I hit submit, the basket price suddenly changed to £89.99 showing the £69.99 headphone price plus a £20 VAT fee? I checked my credit card which confirms a pending transaction of £89.99 not £69.99.

On top of this I have yet to receive an email order confirmation. Has anyone else ever experienced this problem?

I am certain the website I ordered from was the legit UK website as the address is https://uk.jbl.com/

Customer support doesn’t open for another 2 hours so I am left panicking a little that I’ve been scammed.

Recent convert’s press on haul

Retail brand: Celebritips and Primark

I am a recent convert to press on nails and went shopping yesterday to start my collection. I was very pleased to come across some Celebritips in TKMaxx for only £7 each, and I also picked up some cheapies from Primark.
