Was looking through my dad’s old things and found a mini zine he made in ‘73

My dad passed away when I was a young teenager (20 years ago now) and his art is one of the few things I still have of his. I was just looking at his old stuff for inspiration as Ive been trying to make art and be creative again (specifically Ive been trying to get into zines) when this paper slipped out from one of the pages. As far as Im concerned its a mini zine and judging by his other work it was probably from 1973! So cool to see especially since I just made a post about how I prefer to make mini zines so far. Anyways, wanted to share! Im also working on compiling his other doodles into a zine.

Made a mini zine about softness

Also wanted to ask if anyone has advice on their process of making zines. Ive started so many and just trashed them because I felt it was awkward or whatever. Its easier for me to make tiny ones because its less pressure somehow. Would love to hear what you all might have to say!

I really was losing hope in my local bins because they never seemed to have very much of the types of things I was looking for.
Today was awesome and I left just a half hour before closing. This wasnt even all I found. The glow in the dark saint is my absolute favorite

The brand is called Tiger Tale Toys and apparently they sold them at target not too long ago, but there wasnt any available locally so I bought her on Ebay. Just arrived and she is so cute and realistic looking🥰 Closest I can get to having a pet rat because my apartment doesnt allow pets 😭
