Hi all. Will I be able to get away with 255/40 r18 tyres on the rear of my car based off the sticker?
Really like the features and benefits of the Michelin crossclimate 3 sport tyres, however they are not available in 255/35r18’s for my rears. They are available in 255/40r18 though and was wondering if the extra couple mm’s of sidewall height make a big difference and start rubbing the arches or cause any big issues? My guess is to just suck it up and get a tyre size thats specified in my door jam?

Beaut of a city
Up from Galway for the weekend. Always loved cork. What a vibe around the place lads. Ye keep it well. Only saw a group of Russians at a pub at the exit of Carroll’s quay literally strangle each other but sure look.. they’ll talk it out I’d say. All the best for the weekend folks
