People earning 26000 activity points with one activity - how?

The community tab has the rankings for my EOS location and there are two people who are ALWAYS #1 and #2 on the rankings. Most of their workouts look like normal amounts of calories burned/activity points, but they have at least one workout each month that shows that they burned 26K calories doing one activity. Of course, you can't actually see what that activity is.

I don't really care about the rankings themselves, but I am curious about what exactly one could do to earn that many points. A quick Google search tells me that running is one of the most intense activities you can do, burning 800-1000 calories per hour. So are these people running 26 hours over the course of a day, full speed the entire time, with no breaks? Or is there some magic piece of equipment that they are using that allows them to burn so much?

Denied account for savings certificate from current credit union - why?

I have about $90K in a money market account that we use for our emergency savings. It doesn't pay very much interest at all and I was looking at my other options. The credit union doesn't offer a HYSA, but they do offer savings certificates. The money would be tied up for 6 months minimum, but I was going to put $50K in the savings certificate and leave the rest in money market for actual emergency use.

I applied for the account and it was denied. Obviously, there is plenty of money available. They said that I would be getting a letter explaining the denial, but so far I haven't received anything. Is there usually a limit on this type of account? Is there a limit on how much can be transferred to start the account? I'm going to contact the credit union next week to see if they can help me with it, but I'm just curious about what the possible reasons might be.

Having spent some time there, I would welcome a trip to Nice if I were to be rounded up by Ice. It's a beautiful city with a lot to recommend it. But it's got its problems now too. They recently elected a candidate who is not at all opposed to working with the far right anti-immigrant party and is a huge fan of Israel. Éric Ciotti - Wikipedia

>For the Marianne magazine, Ciotti joined Marine Le Pen's positions on security, identity, immigration and Islamism, sharing with her "an ethnic and identity-based vision of the nation". He thus proposes to change the nationality code in order to abolish the jus soli in favour of the jus sanguinis alone, to include in the Constitution "our Christian origins", as well as to accentuate security policies (creation of 100,000 additional prison places, lowering of the criminal majority to 16 years, suppression of family allowances to "parents of children who do not respect the values of the Republic").

Just curious...the number of jobs posted for Friday is pretty high for it only being Tuesday. And nobody is picking them up (yet). Not sure if subs are just waiting to see if anything better gets posted, taking the day off, or choosing not to sub that day.

It could be that people are just tired or want to take a nice day off before the end of the year. But for the two districts I sub for, it's surprisingly high. After having jobs snatched up within seconds over the past 3 months, to see things sitting uncovered is a bit of a change.
