I am getting my ex30 on Friday. I dont have a car charger yet. My problem is that in my condo parking there is zero wifi or cell phone connection.
What charger can I get that is a dumb charger and that can he hard wired?
What charger is best for this situation?
Wifi chargers I heard they might not work without a connection..

I put a 1000 dollar deposit at the end of May on a vapor grey dual motor plus here in Canada.
The communication I had was an email saying thank you for the 1000 dollar deposit.
They said the car should be ready by mid September.
When do the usually give you the vin number?
When do they usually give you an actual date of delivery?
How is the car running with the latest software updates?
The ex30 owners in Northern climates did you by a second pair of rims or simply change to winter tires?

So I ordered an ex30 dual motor plus. And the wait feels awkward. Not much info on delivery or delays or anything.
So I decided to just but a large amount down on the car and just finance it. I always bought my cars so leasing isn't an option. Unless someone can convince me otherwise.
I am just afraid that come September volvo will call and be like "sorry .. its delayed 2-3 months. 😵💫
What did you guys do? Finance or lease? How was your wait did it make you inpatient?

I am thinking not much can be done without a vin I guess?
I have a vapour grey plus reserved it comes in before September 9th.
Question is that I heard nothing from the dealer I signed nothing as well. Is this normal? Im afraid the price might change by September...how do I know if the card even mine?

This will be my final post regarding the ex30. So far I have been extremely excited and a little nervous about thos car. It looks honestly fantastic. The size is just right for my needs. The range is more than enough for 90% of my needs. I dont mind charging a few times if I decide to take a road trip.

Here is what makes me nervous (I decided to wait until September for the vapor grey)

Some of my concerns.... I have read that locking and unlocking the car is hit or miss. Some say it works fine others have issues. This is definitely not good news.

Infotainment I hear sometimes connects or doesn't. I have android by the way.

I am in montreal. Wondering if the models here have had the battery issue. I really hope the September 2026 models won't have these issues.

Just got a call from volvo, and I can get the sand dune earlier. I have never seen the color in person and I am wondering if it comes across more creamy or more yellow?
Is it a grandpa color? Some pics it looks awesome. Some videos as well.
The interior will be indigo blue.

Also I won't have a charger for at least a month. How many times would I need to charge the battery a week if I do about 55km a day on average?
Do I use a level 2 or level 3 charger?

So I put down a 1000 dollar reservation for a vapor Grey plus. It should be here in September. I live in montreal Canada.
Main reason for buying the car is that i am in a hours of traffic a day. I only travel 22 km each way.
How is the battery is heavy traffic? Does it drain electricity just sitting there?
If I am on a highway does keeping it over a certain speed significantly drain the battery?
Have most of the major issues been fixed?
And is there a big difference between the plus and the higher model?
