looking for a gaming headset for competitive FPS (coming from hyperx cloud 2)

hey, my hyperx cloud 2's recently broke, so im looking for a new pair of headphones. Pretty much only play competitive shooters, so the only things i care about are sound quality not being bad and proper directional audio so I can hear footsteps and other important sound cues in game.

Budget - ~150 USD (200 AUD). willing to pay more for something good

location - Australia

- plugging into my motherboard (PC), preferably a wired headset but i dont mind wireless.

- would like for it to have a headset mic

- comfort is important for long sessions

I recently tried the hyperx cloud 3's (wired), however the sound quality was terrible and echoey (even after messing with the sound settings a bunch). i couldnt discern where people were coming from in game and the audio was quiet. could possibly be due to the fact that i got used to the replacement fabric earpads vs leather earpads on the cloud 2?

HyperX Cloud 3 wired sounds horrible in comparison to the cloud 2s - how to fix for FPS games?

hey, my old hyperx cloud 2 broke (audio stopped working in right earphone) after about 6 years, so i thought that i should upgrade to the hyperx cloud 3. issue is they sound like absolute garbage, both in games and everywhere else.

sound is quite important for me as i play fps games quite often, how do i go about making it sound not terrible?

hey, i’ve tried aim training a couple times for a month or two, but it always messes up my hand and shoulder. i’ve looked into ergonomics, changed my mouse grip from ftip to relaxed claw, and more, but these issues still persist. im not old or anything either, but i feel like i’ve rarely ever seen anyone else with these issues

i’ve come to the conclusion that im probably just weak, so i was thinking about doing matty’s hand routine + either weight lifting or calisthenics. would these be good exercises or should i do something different? also any specific exercise recommendations? thanks in advance
