Petty? Why yes. Thankyou.

This is some petty revenge I had on a housemate back in the day.

Setting le scene.

At the time I was around 34 and the other house mates Bill (22M), Ted (23M) and Jess (24F) were good friends so moving and living together seemed like a win win. It was not.

We all paid the same rent so should, yes, SHOULD have had the same access to the shared living spaces. This, was not the case. Ted built models, lots of models, so many in fact the living room was full of them and we, (the other three housemates) were unable to go in as there wasn't enough room to sit or watch TV. It became so bad that it was like Ted owned the house (he did not) and we just dwelt there. After repeated house meetings about it we had had enough.

Now to the petty revenge.

Ted was very very particular with his models, they had to be displayed a set way and all the correct bits and pieces set perfectly on the shelves. We'll, I moved them.

Swapping characters around to different sets, swapping heads/torsos/legs to different people, putting them in battles with each other. Just random silly little things. But it drove him absolutely batshit crazy! I used to do it at all hours of the day and night and he would wake up, or come home from work and absolutely lose (edit- loose) his ever loving mind.

Screaming about who was in there? Who did that? And getting totally out of control.

I would simply say "we're not allowed in our own living room?" And he'd storm off cussing to himself. Then I escalated. I got some of the same models and rebuilt them wrong (his were safely hidden and unharmed) and leave them around the house. He would start to lose (edit- loose) it and id show him the docket and box showing i had bought it, I "had no idea where his was" then I'd replace his on the shelf like nothing happened.

Bill and Jess told me after I left they continued messing with him in my absence. So was it petty and childish? Oh completely.

But it was so much fun 😁

Minecraft multiplayer

Im setting up minecraft on the switch for my niece, but it won't let me do multiplayer. I've tried to sort it out through Nintendo and with Microsoft with no luck.

Microsoft want me to add device in order to do anything but only give options of

Windows device

Xbox

Android phone

Or

IPhone

We want to play together on the realm but it's not letting me connect to realms or anything and it's driving me in circles.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

No really, I don't.

Ok, so I am on a disability pension so don't work but received this email.

Hi (dark lord of the pith)

Thank you for the work you do. It's the reason our Agency has become the largest of its kind, operating for 34 years across Australia and New Zealand. This is a true partnership between the Agency, our contractors, and the clients who need a helping hand at home, and you make it work.

We need your help with one thing.

Remember, our work is regular weekly bookings. You hold permanent jobs with your clients, and the jobs board is just there to help you find more regular clients for your roster.

Recently, cleaners have told us there's no work on the board. This usually means we've recruited too many cleaners in an area. We decide where and when to recruit using a report comparing how many cleaners want more work against how many clients are waiting, but that report is only as good as the availability you set, and right now, it isn't reliable.

Three things to fix:

  1. The Friday reset. Every Friday night, your hours are set back to zero. When we send you the Friday text, reset your availability and tell us how many MORE hours you want to fill your roster. Do not include the hours you already have.

  2. For each day, enter only the hours you want. Your availability is set day by day, and we need to know how many MORE hours you still want each day — not the jobs you already have. If you already have 4 hours on Monday and want one more 3-hour client that day, set Monday to 3, not 7. Counting existing work makes the report overstate how many cleaners are free, and we stop trusting it.

  3. If you don’t want any more hours, leave your hours as nil.

When we can't trust the report, we recruit by client demand instead, which can leave you short of work. Too many cleaners will leave you and other cleaners short of extra work; too few means clients don't get a call quickly and go elsewhere.

I got a second email a few hours later saying "oops." Which made it funnier in my opinion.
