what do men look for (other than the obvious )?

assalamu’alaykum everyone :3

I’m just gonna go straight to the point. I’ve been pondering on love. I’m not dating, not talking to anyone at all, i’m just curious on the psychology of men (unfortunately 🌚)
So the question is :
What do men look for ?

I know alot of people will say these:
-Deen
- Personality
- Looks ( physical appearance)

But I think compatibility in a relationship goes deeper than just these 3 aspects. I’ve seen people picking one or the others or all 3. But humans are so complex generally, so i’m curious ~ what other traits do men admire/look for when talking to a woman?
And what makes a man head over heels for someone?

Thanks to anyone who responds !! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Men. Pls Never do this when talking to someone you’re interested in..

I’m 22 and i’ve met men from many walks of life. I immediately lost interest in them the moment they did ONE thing.

Each time i wasn’t shocked. I wasn’t surprised, i just thought :” ofc it went there. You’re a man”
Every time a man talked about anything remotely SEXUAL or Physical, it became such a MASSIVE turn off. And i’m sure many many women agree on this- especially if they’re deep into the deen.

You meet a guy who seems cute, religious, and respectful at first. But regardless of the hints you send them - the polite decline, the respectful words you use with them. They struggle to remain faithful to Allah, or abstain from vain desires.
I’m not asking for the most pious man, but a man who tries his best to remain “ gentleman-like” or God fearing, that is so so attractive.

And later down the line if marriage does occur- inshaAllah it will be amazing. No rancour, no remorse, no negative emotions festering.

Sometimes all women need is just someone who sees them BEYOND just sex.
Beyond just bodies.

So for any man reading this- i hope you get something out of this. Women are not defined by their mere bodies, and the moment you learn to appreciate her for who she is, for her personality, her kindness, her piousness, her beautiful soul, that’s when you truly win her over. Not by mere words, but by how safe you make her feel.

16 days post op update !

Here’s some before and after pics !
I had an overbite, cross bite, deviated bite, recessed chin + noticeable asymmetry+ lip incompetence

Post op: Bite is fixed, but because of my slight swelling and lip tension i can’t fully close my lips yet.
Aesthetically i am extremely pleased with the work, it was a very easy surgery to recover from ( personally). Right now i’m still recovering but it’s very manageable ( there’s just a bit of swelling and tension as expected )

My surgeon was Dr. Park Jae Bong, from MACS OMFS. He is super skilled and super kind ! He took my concerns very seriously from the start. I cannot recommend them enough 🤍
The overall experience was seamless.
Pain levels ? 3/10.
Barely felt any pain at all, slight discomfort as expected, but maybe it’s because my pain tolerance is quite high.

The worst part of this surgery is just not being able to eat food properly for like a month ( i’m a big foodie so this is torture 💀😭 i miss my burgers AAARGH)

I’ll update you guys again in a month 🫶see u soon!

My surgeon cleared me for soft foods at 10 days post op !

Just here to say that i’m recovering pretty quickly ! I’m very thankful and also very hungry lol

I have a few questions since all of us have different surgeons - it would be interesting to see how others have got on during the “ soft food phase “

How was it ?

At how many days post op did yall start your soft food diet ?

and what kind of foods did you guys have at this stage ?
For breakfast - i’ve been having
a blend of milk and cereal, yoghurt and a smoothie !
For lunch - a blend of soup with bits
dinner - soup soup soup 💀
( i need more recipes )

This helps
me but i’m sure others will find it super helpful too 😌

almost 24 hours post op

Tryna thug it out as much as i can. I came to south Korea from London for this jaw surgery. I’m currently feeling very tired, very uncomfortable too. I feel like i’ve been ran over my a truck, and my nose is constantly bloody so i can barely breathe through my nose.

If you’re thinking of getting this surgery, be ready for a rollercoaster !
It can be extremely draining emotionally, mentally, and even a little lonely too.

I stopped smoking officially from 2024 december i think, i was trying to quit for months and I finally stuck to it.

The immediate health benefits :
- it was SO AMAZING being able to breathe normally and not wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air.
I used to down like 10 cigarettes a day 🫩 sometimes 15… and it was so bad my lungs were not functioning properly…

- after one month i could walk faster and be more active without getting tired, i was hitting the gym again and my stamina got insane !!

- my skin and hair is still recovering from the smoke but my complexion has definitely changed ! I’m glowing more and I look much better and healthier 🫶

- My overall mental health is much better- if i struggle or if im stressed I deal with it internally ! I don’t grab a cigarette out of boredom or just “to feel something “

- Dealing with my mental health better has made me more resilient with problems and keeping myself stable !! I don’t regret quitting at all. Everyone should do it 🫶

The downside is ofc the cravings, but they don’t stay🤍🫶 and after a year you definitely won’t feel them anymore !!
