High velux (a little less than 4m high, 13 ft) windows catching all the sun getting really hot during summer. Trying to find some way to put something on the outside of the window to block the sun and heat as much as possible. Any ideas?

Hi,

There are 3 of these
windows. As the heat wave hit last week, temperatures rose really high because
of these windows. So we're looking for ideas and tips to block it.

As a renter, I cant
really install too expensive or intrusive things.

We have 2 ladders but none of them are high
enough for me to even touch the window.

Reflecting screens are
kinda out of question because of ho high it is and we would like to remove the
protection when summer is done.

I tried to put some
blinds on suction cups you find on Amazon with the help of an extending
gripper, but the gripper isnt strong enough to hold the suction cup to the top
of the window, so I cant even put the suction cups on the window.

As Im not really a DIY
guy, Im coming here to seek some help. Do you guys have any idea on how I could
install something while not being able to touch the window? I added images of
the 2 things I tried but didnt work. Is there some sort of tool I dont know of
that could help installing these suction cups?

Is there anything else I
can install on the outside to block the sun heat?

Thank you very much for your appreciated
help, I really wish we can find something for the rest of the summer.

First time gig in Antwerp : question about the crowd

Hello guys,

Im going to the show in Antwerp tomorrow - first time going to a Don Broco show. And also first time going to this type of show in a small room like Kavka Zappa.

I am kinda anxious about the fact that there will be a lot of movement in the crowd and dont really want too much of it.

You guys should know more than I do : Where would you recommend me to go in the crowd to be the most confortable (I know there will always be movement in the crowd, I just want to be safer i guess?) Im sure people in these shows are good people and that there wont be any issue but I cant stop overthinking it so I thought I might post here to be reassured.

Thanks a lot for your asnwers !

Kavka Zappa parking ?

Hello guys,

Im coming from Wallonie to a concert this week in Kavka Zappa. This will be the first time in this place. We went a lot to Lotto Arena and AFAS dome tho, but thats far !

We will be coming by car, and we dont like using public transport so P+R might not be an option for us. We like to walk tho (20 minutes walk to the gig is ok for us, if the neightboorhood is fine.)

Do you guys know where we could park? I know there are some parking spots near Kavka but no so much, and we wont be arriving before 7pm so I guess there wont be spots left. Maybe you guys have a "secret" sport near that place? Even paid parking is fine for us.

Thank you very much guys,

Have a great day!
