Beginner-Friendly Slap n' Pop Basslines?

I tried doing Seven Goblins by Masayoshi Takanaka and Can't Stop by RHCP, but I think those might be above my skill level at the moment. What are some of the easier slap 'n' pop songs I should get started with?

Question about Les Claypool's Carl Thompson basses.

So we all know Les Claypool primarily uses Carl Thompson basses, so my question is if I get a Carl Thompson bass will I be imbued with the musical genius and abilities of Les Claypool? (Serious Question)

Recommend me some albums

I have never listened to a single dreamcore album or artist as far as I'm aware, and I want to see what the genre has to offer. What are some beginner albums you guys would recommend me to listen to?

Will we ever see a Queer-Friendly Georgia?

I just want to get everybody's opinions on this.
I am a Georgian queer male, and honestly a few years back if I had the chance to move out of this country, I would do it in a heartbeat, but nowadays, I do see a glimmer of hope, particularly with my generation (Gen Z).
I feel like people are slowly becoming more and more accepting. Of course my perspective might just be like this because of the circles I am personally around and the content I consume on other social media, but the point still stands I genuinely do think the country is heading in a better place when it comes to this discussion and would be in a way better state if our government wasn't actively spreading propaganda against queers and if the older generation took the time to be educated on this topic, but hey, you can't perform miracles in life. :p

I just hope years down the line the country will become safer for queers.

200hrs into the game any advice for me?

What i particularly struggle with is chaining rocket jumps, hitting airborne enemies as soldier and playing Demoman in general.

Are there any community servers you guys could direct me to where i could learn to play better in an actual match setting?

If you guys have any tips that helped u while u were a newbie like me I'd appreciate it if u could pass down the knowledge to me :p

Which distro should i use?

I got a new laptop recently and my old one was pretty weak so I couldn't really use heavier or more polished distros like Fedora. I had to mostly stick to lightweight XFCE based distros just to keep performance decent.

Now I have a much better machine and I want to get back into tinkering with Linux, but still have a distro that can do gaming and feels streamlined.

I've been looking at Fedora or CachyOS but really all I want is a distro that doesn't randomly mess up my Nvidia drivers and is fun to use. any ideas?

Dying Light CPU Bottleneck

Is there anyone who can help me solve this problem? Honestly, I've tried all possible ways up until now.

I tried disabling and enabling Core 0 in Task Manager but it didn't solve my problem. I tried changing some settings, lowering everything to its minimum, raising everything to its maximum and mixing combinations but it doesn't really help. The only thing that I noticed is that when playing the game on low settings, some parts give me about 9 frames per second while when playing on high settings, they give me about 30 frames per second.

When playing the game on low settings, the game bottlenecks my cpu so much the average usage is 85-90% with spikes to 100% and my GPU usage goes down to 45-50%. It seems to me that the game engine is bottlenecking my CPU and doesn't allow my GPU to operate in an optimal way. The game plays extremely badly even on high settings when the GPU should be working harder.

My computer specs are: i7-1165G7, GTX 1650 Max-Q, 16 GB RAM

Is ID Verification mandatory?

CS2 Competitive sucks ass, Community servers are barely playable and i saw FACEIT as a viable option since i used to play on it a bit in the Global Offensives Days i heard their services require u to verify with an ID now.

Is this true because I'm not contempt with giving over my ID to yet another company in today's day and age

Tips for rhythm?

I’ve been playing bass for about a month. My progress has been decent. The main thing I struggle with is following songs consistently. Almost every bassline I’ve learned, like Money, Layla, Feel Good Inc., and Peace Sells, gives me trouble with rhythm.

I can practice with a metronome at around 100 BPM and play simple exercises (1234) as I move between frets and strings. However, I still haven’t developed that subconcious sense of timing that helps you stay in rhythm. I usually end up playing some parts too fast or too slow, and I eventually fall behind the song.

Recently, a friend invited me to join his band, and I agreed. Most of the basslines they play should be fairly simple but i'm still kinda scared about not being able to keep up so is there anything u guys could recommend i practice?

I've been thinking of just putting a metronome in the background as i watch my shows and try to keep up with it.

I have a laptop with a i3-1005G1 CPU, 4 Gigs of RAM, iGPU.

I'm looking for a lightweight distro that is accessible for a newbie like me and can handle lightweight gaming (Combat Master, PS1 PS2 PSP Emulation, CSGO Legacy)

I've been thinking of debian XFCE But now that i look at it i don't think it's for a complete newbie like me.

What would u guys recommend? Is Linux Mint a realistic option with enough optimization?
( I did see this video about it lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktigx6iXUWs )
