What’s it like growing up in AC?

I’m a Philly boul who loves AC. I prefer AC to Wildwood and any other beach town. For me it’s like Philly with a beach (no disrespect). But what’s it like being an AC native? Like you grew up, went to school, graduated, and lived in AC all your life. Tell me what’s up. I love AC so what’s it low being from there?

“He’s got me chopped”

What does this phrase mean to you? Al my life I basically thought it mean the same as “he’s got me fucked up” basically saying someone is confused about who you are or what you do, something to that effect, but the internet is saying it means someone thinks I’m ugly?? I’ve never heard it used that way in my life. Is this a Philly phrase?

This is the weather I’ve been waiting for

Low to mid 80s during the day, 60s to low 70s at night, mostly sunny, especially on the weekend, I’m living for this. I love keeping my windows open and turning off the AC, time for fresh air 🏙️

So what if Iran gets a nuke? What difference will it make?

Remember when we didn’t want N. Korea to get a nuke? How dangerous it would be to the world if they had nuke? Well they got one in 2006. Has the world ended since then? Did N. Korea attack any of its neighbors? Did you even know they had nukes before reading this? Now that you know, do you care?

IFDGAF if Iran has a nuke. If anything maybe that would mean we finally leave them alone, and stop blowing hundreds of billions of dollars continuously attacking them on and off for no reason.

“WeLl iF tHeY gEt OnE tHeY’lL bLoW uP aLl ThEiR nEiGhBoRs!”

Um, last time I checked Iran hadn’t blown up any of its neighbors until after we attacked them. And, although they didn’t have nukes, they’ve had advanced missile systems for years, and didn’t blow up anyone with them until this war started. So of Iran had high tech missile capacity all this time and never used it until they were attacked, then how can you argue if there had nukes that would suddenly change?

Here’s a thought: maybe Iran wants nukes to PREVENT other countries from constantly attacking them (which, given recent events, seems pretty valid to me, since we and Israel literally keep attacking them). Has anyone considered that possibility?

Pakistan, a Muslim country, has nukes, and what difference has that made in your life?

Let Iran have nukes, so we can finally move on from this convo like we did N. Korea.

As I get older as a man, I’m starting to realize that I prefer to surround myself with male friends who carry themselves with dignity and self-respect. I need male friends who I can hold accountable, and who will do the same for me. Who practice self control and restraint. Who are secure in themselves and their relationships. Who are not money-obsessed or care only about status and material gain. Who are polite and chivalrous towards women. Who love and respect their gfs/wives, and don’t speak poorly about them to other men. Who are considerate and thoughtful of others. Who are humble and hardworking, and don’t complain about everything. Who read actual books, and value learning and intellect. Who believe in God, and are convicted in their beliefs. Is that what women are complaining about? Do other men feel this way too? Any dudes want to be friends with other honorable men? Do you look for these qualities in your male friendships?

I just can’t stomach dudes who don’t possess these qualities anymore. It always ends up being embarrassing because people associate me with their behavior is they’re my friends. As I move through my thirties I’m saying to let go of long time friendships because my male friends don’t seem to be growing. They just aren’t evolving into gentlemen who I would hold on high regard or esteem. They’re still self-serving and immature, prideful and lustful. And I just can’t bang with that anymore. We’re getting too old. It makes me kind of sad because cause it doesn’t seem like there are a lot of men who are like that.
